Its strange becuase Oden is dead and he hasnt felt that haki in 20 years. That fact he recognises its Oden's Sword due to the strange haki. Shows the haki has something to do with Oden.

Kaido recognized his haki which doesn't imply it's actually his haki Chrono, it can simply be Zoro's haki inducting a reminiscence process, like some form of deja vu.
He said they are using Oden's Ryou -> The scabbards not their swords -> Meaning the scarbbards are using a similar type of ryou as Oden
Whilst for Zoro he said the sword is the source for the strange haki -> The sword not Zoro - > Meaning the sword is emitting a strange haki that made him realise its Oden's sword.
If you cant understand whats going on from here, then you need help.
I totally don't get this entire Enma argument. Even if Odens Haki would reside in the blade, at the end of the day Zoro wields it and he can do shit with it. This damage control doesn't even make any sense.

This is a stupid argument. Respecting Zoro for being able to wield such a tricky weapon and his prowess, and acknowledging Enma is clearly a special sword one way or the other, are not mutually exclusive, unfortunately it is treated as such from both sides.

how can people still be wasting time on the look out/ dodge bs. If you'd just ask anyone with japanese knowledge they'd all confirm you the word translates to dodge. Hell you don't even need japanese knowledge, just look at the raws and use a dictionary to translate the word yourself it's really not that hard..
Emma was a mistake and Oda is making a mistake. he need only follow the basics, Zoro lost Shushui because it was a black blade forged by another and would gain Emma and train Ryou with her, in addition to turning her into a black one in the future. he would not need to enter this field of magical powers of the sword.
Not Oda's fault some people have negative IQ and think somehhow Oden's haki is stored and ready to use inside the damn blade just because he mentioned Oden sword a couple of times.

The truth is that black blades don't even store haki in the first place, they simply turn quite hard thanks to a process not quite known yet.
Enma is a special sword, an haki sucker, but that functionality only applies momentarily and ultimately Enma is a normal sword that can't store haki forever at all.
