but if they are creating a sword out of their power they must know how to use it

beside i think all marines learn basic swordsmanship
They’re not actually using real swords, that’s just their power. If Akainu gives one of his attacks the shape of a dragon, it doesn’t mean he’s a dragon tamer, that’s just his magma power shaped into a dragon.

Akainu does know how to use a sword, I think there’s an image of young Akainu carrying a sword. Probably all Admirals have been trained in swordsmanship but I wouldn’t call them swordsmen if they stopped using a sword after their training.

I think every Admiral is a master of swordsmanship, haki, and rokushiki.

Your headcanon : He's a swordman.

Facts : only King was picked and tagged as a swordman.

:funky:
My point exactly, King is confirmed to be a swordsman

Looks like a swordsman.
Dont buy into the trap of him not using swords in irrelevant clashes...
When he is in the final battle, I bet he will be relying on them.
I personally do not think he will, they call him queen the plague, he'll rely on his chemical weapons and that left arm of his

that doesn’t make sense if he’s making an object of their powers that looks like a sword, used like a sword and works as a sword

it’s a sword

we’re talking about queen and i don’t see him mentioned
To add, Queen the Plague, no way IMO he is relying on swords for his weapons, 2 things that are clear in the manga he relys on, the chemical weapons he makes and that left mechanical arm

That’s a DF power shaped into a sword. Akainu can make his attacks look like a dog, it looks like a dog and it’s used like a dog, does that mean he fights with a dog ? Using a real sword is nothing like using an ice sword, the weight alone is completely different. Kizaru’s sword is even literally weightless since it’s a sword made of light. Fujitora is the only one I consider a swordsman because he actually uses a sword.
