白熱 is the missing word. Heating up/getting excited.

The whole thing is just hype lol.
Haha definitely have read those words translated like 20 times in the past 30 chapters whenever Jump hypes a one piece chapter lol. Yeah this just hype words as usual.

It would be nice if there was an act break though at a critical moment. The fighting doesn't necessarily need to stop, just at the moment maybe when Luffy wakes up to someone surprising or some big event.

If it fails, we’re doomed.

it’ll take at least ten chapters for the Raid to Fail.
It’ll take another 15/20 for a rematch with the Yonko
And at least 20 for the Tobi Rōppo and Calamities to be defeated, plus any in between raid and final battle filler.

:gokulaugh: We would leave Wano at like, late 2022
Thats over 1 fucking year of this Arc...

I dont need to see how Luffy will lose again several times against Kaido

And Oda´s fakedrama is boring as hell

Next chapter will decide everything.
Tbh, I dont think it means anything. It will take far longer to have Kaido and BM wreck everyone. Too many set up focal points to skip things and just have him win, especially with how many chapters have been dedicated to setting everything up.

Basically if Oda got to the battles way faster, I could then believe the raid failing. Right now that makes virtually no sense to me with how much built up concepts have been thrown around:

- Why would Oda spend a chapter with Sanji calling for Robin's help if she's just going to lose?

- Why would Oda set up Jinbe vs WsW if he isn't going to resolve the mask issue? Plus, Jinbe is really going to lose?

- Why would he have Chopper cure the virus if they are all just going to lose anyway?

Etc. There is just way too much going on here to just end it like nothing happened. Plus, if they lose, I dont see how they can win later.

What I can see is these fights dragged out for many chapters. Luffy fought Katakuri for 10-12 hours, same with Cracker. I could see the same for whoever fights the calamities and some F6 members. I can see Luffy vs Kaido lasting way longer somehow. Imo, it's not ending, it's just beginning (the fights that is)

Edit: More that the fight with Kaido and BM are going to be far longer than we think

The actual Raid on Onigashima could fail which will result in act 3 ending... Act 4 could be the final battles across the Wano mainland.
I really don't think it's gonna "fail". Just that Kaido is going to continue with his plan while everyone else is distracted with his crew.

Think Crocodile continuing his plans until Luffy came back to stop him. Too much setup in stopping Robin's fight or Jinbe's or Franky's, it took them quite a few chapters just to arrive at those locations, Robin especially. Look how long it's taking for Sanji and potentially even Zoro to get their proper matchups.

The raid is merely failing when there's no more room to defeat Kaido for the alliance in my opinion , but that's most likely not coming to fruition as there's still a lot of room for now and Zoro will presumably be back in some time, just like Luffy will presumably be back earlier.

Luffy fought him for 20+ minutes already. That is not too OP.
Luffy can do yonko sky splitting punches in base, he's has the best feats of any non yonko pirate.
Still got KO by Kaido easily the 3rd time.
Luffy is not taking down Kaido 1 v. 1 in wano.
Stop dreaming.
Post automatically merged:

the propechy mentions 9 vs 1, so not solo
Or maybe it means Luffy getting defeated 9 times before winning :milaugh:

potentially even Zoro to get their proper matchups.
Zoro's proper matchup is Kaido. Even if Zoro fights King, that wouldn't change. For King to be Zoro's main fight, there would need to be an actual narrative to the fight.

Zoro's narrative is to face Kaido.
And Zoro will face Kaido again.

If King provides an opportunity for Zoro to become stronger for his next round vs Kaido, that will grant the fight some meaning. Otherwise, a King fight offers Zoro nothing.
