That is why the dream of being the king is more difficult than being the most powerful swordsman in the world, but it is a mission that is impossible to do alone, you need allies, fighters, navigators, archaeologists, etc. Being the most powerful swordsman in the world only depends on yourself, and it is on your own power.
Don't compare them to Zoro because they aren't Zoro nor are they on the path to become the world's strongest.
Luffy opponents are typically tyrants who have taken over a city, town, village or island and Luffy (warrior of liberation) must defeat them to feee the people from tyranny.
Zoro opponents are stepping stones to help him prepare to face Mihawk by removing any weakness and/or pushing him to peak level in all areas.

Using a self brag against someone you dont even really know as proof is par for the course with you though.
And how does that invalidate luffys strength when you have to defeat the captains who are likely to be WSC/WSM to even reach raftel. If you want to put on Buggys ideals regarding being a pirate king than i have nothing to say, because time and time again yhe alpha males have said what it takes to be s pirate king. We have seen the journey of straw hat pirates fight almost every pirate groups out there with luffy fighting the strongest of the bunch and it definitely takes absoulte streght to even subdue them.
