General & Others Is this the best fight of Wano?

Jinbe vs Who's Who has the choreography and well-thought out attacks from both sides that is sorely lacking in most post-timeskip fights. Also, the fight isn't just one clash, a couple of lines from each character, and then off-panel. There's actually a whole chapter and half dedicated to it, which is a shocker.

There's also a lot of lore revealed and characterization for both parties, which will set up future plot points (Sun God and the frequent references to the Dawn, Sun, etc in One Piece).

It's a pretty low-bar considering how the fights in Wano have been so far, but this could be the best fight in Wano. What surpasses it writing-wise?

Might be mildly heretical, but it was much better technically than the rooftop fight (barring the bit at the end where Luffy and Kaido started attacking each other with CoC).

I enjoyed the roof top fight, don’t get me wrong, but a lot of it was

DOUBLE-SPREAD OF AN AWESOME ATTACK
THE ENEMY COUNTERS WITH A DOUBLE-SPREAD OF AN AWESOME ATTACK OF THEIR OWN

Which was cool, but didn’t quite have much of a flow to it.

It's one of the most intense post the rooftop clash I would suggest.

If this is related to 1v1s I place it on top for now. Which doesn't necessarily mean top 1.

Other candidates are for instance Early Luffy v Kaido Rioftoop Luffy v Kaido despite we didn't witness much of those.

Nah I also agree. There was some good actions on the rooftop but it was a bit messed up sometimes.
Best part was Luffy and Kaido 1v1 but it's was too short and off paneled.
1v1 are always better and the Jimbei fight was very good, plenty of different techniques and style from both of them.

I can only hope that the same will happen for Sanji vs Queen, Zoro vs King and Luffy vs Kaido.

It has to be 1v1s and a bit longer or it's going to be below Jimbei vs WW.

Its the only fight with a proper conclusion so far(unless you count the mess that was roof piece) so yeah I'll give it that

Only counting Onigashima because all fights prior to that weren't really anything. Itd be like trying to compare Franky vs Zipper Guy to Zoro cutting down T Bone

I didn’t like the rooftop battle choreography wise , it’s flow, coherence, plot etc

The best fight in Wano / Onigashima is likely Zoro vs Kamazo for me

Marco moments with King and Queen were cool but overall a bit weird because either King or Queen missed half of the time and we didn’t know at all what they were doing

About WsW vs Jimbe it had potential and had rhythm but maybe I expected too much but it didn’t deliver the way I wanted. I think WsW use of his DF was really limited. Only the fang shigan. And I wanted WsW to do other things having other skills with his sword etc.

The shigan Madara wasn’t my cup of tea

And the whole Jimbe / WsW connection : I see you already etc etc was kinda cheap

Roof Piece > Any One Piece fight not named Luffy vs Lucci.

But, yes, Jinbe vs WW is Wano's best 1-on-1 so far.
