Thing is, Dugongs, Batman, Armadilloman etc. are unimportant filler scenes. These scenes that they animated for Sanji are actually either filling the gap scenes or they are betraying the context of the manga. Quite significant number of readers still think Sanji lack hardening yet they drew it for him three times. In manga, Drake tailed Sanji, somethings unseen had happened and the crew successfully ran away. They animated what that unseen thing was in the anime. Contrary to filler scenes, these ones should actually be asked to Oda If these were his intentions and anime filled the gaps, no problem. If not, they literally betrayed the context.
Yes but if people are dumb enough to believe what anime or movie show, it means we have probably a large audience who think bullet is cannon, and zoro = fujitora, right ?

Drake even has that factor of him being an ally and a spy so we know for sure he was not even trying to take out Sanji.

Most of the time when the anime adds new scenes not shown in the manga, it's just non-canon filler done to spice up the episode.

Well as far as vc are not totally canon then should be the same for anime , and if you want to argue about pl it whatever just do it with manga as is the original and is the author himself doing that , if we have to take anime canon , vc and data books then a lot of debates can be cleared and a lot of threads will be closed and since the community can’t handle those things we should leave at manga that a lot of thing are not clear that’s how I see it cheers
