Chapter Discussion Is Vegapunk's secret ally a marine?

At the end of chapter 1059 we see a Marine ship heading towards egghead, as far I can remember nothing has come out of this



Now that it seems that the SHs are on their way out of egghead, the only thing I can think of is that this secret ally is the same marine who was heading towards egghead in 1059. It's either that or this marine stopped by to grab a Seraphim for other reasons.

The 2 candidates:

Fujitora



Fujitora seems to have some ties to Vegapunk and an interest in the SSG weapons. Will this be the moment where he turns on the WG? Last we saw of him was heading towards an undisclosed location.

Smoker:

Another character who may have ties to Vegapunk who has yet to appear. Last we saw of him was heading towards the lab



So far we have only seen Tashigi on G-14, for some reason Oda is choosing to hide Smoker until the last minute. Could it be because he made up his mind and decided to leave the WG with Vegapunk?

Smoker would probs make the most sense, its really suspicious he's not reappeared yet but Tashigi and the PH kids have though.

I'd love it to be him with some well deserved major powerups, similar to Lucci too but I'd be really happy to see Fujitora again too and for it to be him then.

I'm mostly wishing on it being Scopper but that might be very wishful thinking, especially at this point. This arc is showing some parallels to Sabaody though so maybe Scopper will be "that guy" and thus parallel Rayleigh appearing?

Thats an extremely slim hope though at this point, I've even resounded to believing Scopper is just dead and forgotten or hes being saved for Elbaf, Lodestar or even Laugh Tale somehow. We don't know where Roger's ship is currently IIRC, what that egg was and where the rest of his crew are too.
Scopper would fit on Elbaf too if its not him here.

Actually I think I rather it would be Smoker or Fujitora then, maybe Smoker especially?

We need more on Sword too, its time especially with CP0 and thus the WG involved too. Film Red had Blueno representing CP0 being forced to team up with Koby for Sword and there was awkwardness there, some hostility from Blueno and such? Sword vs "Aegis"/Shield too? Marine vs WG?

It is a special clone that Vegapunk created quite some time ago.
It's none of the above-mentioned characters. :goyea:

-Fujitora would never endange his position as Admiral, definitely wouldn't be hiding in Egghead.
-Smoker has no reason to hide in Egghead too, he's comfortable with the marines overall and no need to do smth rash
-Low top tier Fullboy would be dope lmao

If it's a marine then it's a former one who has a reason to be in hiding. Kuzan fits the criteria
