Current Events Is Who's Who vs Jinbe really over?

I really think that it isn't, and there are several reasons for this.

• Oda never drew Who's Who with his eyes whited out(or alternatively with his mask broken, similar to what he did with Doffy and his glasses)
• Who's Who is an ancient zoan and one of the strongest tobi roppo. If Ulti could come back after getting KO'd twice, first by Yamato and then by big mom(which literally blasted a hole through her), this shouldn't be all it takes to take out Who's Who
• Who's Who likely didn't go all out. He is portrayed to be Lucci's rival, with him having a similar fruit and showing similar rokushiki(such as flying shigan, and spots). There are still three major techniques of Lucci's which he is yet to show, those being Rokuogan, Life return, and kami-e.

I think Oda is making this look like a jinbe win, in order to set up the power of awakened zoans. One key difference between the impel down guards and normal zoans we see is that in hybrid form, normal zoans usually have the lower jaw of a human. Look at Lucci, Drake, Queen, Kaido, and more to see this. However, the jailer beasts' heads looked entirely like that of an animal.

Who's Who's head in hybrid looks the exact same as it did in full beast form, which might indicate that he is an awakened zoan. What if the true power of an awakened zoan isn't merely an increase in stamina and regeneration, but rather the abiliity to adapt to their environments? Essentially, every time an awakened zoan is hit by a technique, their body adapts to gain a certain resistance to it. The ultimate version of this is kaido, who has taken so many blows that his skin has become near impenetrable.

Basically, Who's Who could not only come back, he could come back stronger.

I don't know it's a bit unclear if he got defeated or not. I would like if the first half of chap. 1019 is a continuation of this fight, where we see Who's Who without a mask and him delivery an ultimate move (maybe a new version of the Rokuogan), but Jinbe deals with that and delivers the final blow.

Another reason why he may not be defeated is that Oda tends to not conclude fights in chapters title with "X vs Y", obviously not all the time, but a lot of times the fights don't conclude. Now we need to wait to 2 freaking weeks to see if WW was defeated or not.

People said Fukurou is down because he got punched by Franky in the face in Enies Lobby. And guess what? He was fine and fighting Franky for 2 more chapters. Jinbei punched WsW in the face and his real identity will get reveal in the next chapter so it's obviously he's not down yet.

Ulti going down and back up and down and back up wasn’t particualrly interesting, and there’s absolutely no reason to drag the arc out with endless fakeouts of ”Ah ha! You thouhgt you beat me, but thanks to my magic awakening powers I am back stronger than ever!”

There’s also no reason for any of the Flying Six to be awakened when so far it’s pretty rare. The Jailer Beasts might have had it, but the fact the five of them are all retarded might be a clue that it was some kind of forceful experimentation that snapped their minds.

The arc has been going on for ages now, Onigashima has as well, Kanjuro, Ulti, Page One and WW are all down because we’ve hit the end zone. I really don’t get this desire for the arc to be dragged as long as it can.

Hmmm because They are Zoans, and he potrayed to be the strongest flying 6. They are surpose to be like zombies even the gifters Sanji and Jinbei beat got back up. Zoans are surpose to get back up. Makes no sense after what Ulti and Page 1 went through.

Imo, it's not. A lot of what people don't understand is presentation. Ulti or Page 1? Sure, because they literally were knocked out at the times that they were hit in the same chapter. Will either of them get up again? Who knows, that's up to Oda. Kanjuro got up multiple times. We all fully know we'll he, Kiku and Kin are not dead.

Who's Who is literally still conscious after getting punched. Im really also not sure what the problem is here. Just because Oda spends another chapter on their fight, doesn't mean the arc is going to take "that" much longer to finish. 1018 or 1019 or even 1020, who's who will get taken out. It's just a matter of when, and very clearly it wasn't this chapter by the fact that he's still conscious.

It doesn't matter if Jinbe is dominating, nobody knows what Oda will do with his opponent. Maybe he has WsW get more serious. Maybe he has him use other techniques like Kamisori or Seimei Kikan or an ultimate technique unique to WsW.

At this point, people need to just wait.

Funny enough, I feel like that plays a huge part into why the fight isn't over: his identity. We know he's from CP-9, but even CP-0 refused to say his actual name. Why?

There's very clearly more to be discussed about Sun God Nika, his ignorance to Fishmen, and the grudge he has. His identity is part of that because he clearly hides behind a mask for some reason

It’s over, that’s how the chapter makes it feel, it’s already one sided fight. WsW was only decent enough to damage Jinbei to some degree, but we know he can withstand more damage which doesn’t seem like WsW can offer so why drag it any longer. I do see WsW coming back just like Ulti, but his opponent will be a different person.
