I think so, there is a great chance that she can join the crew.
First of all, Oda did not say "no! she will never join the crew".
Unlike Vivi who made us understand that even if she is considered Straw Hats etc.. she will always choose Arabasta even more with the recent events of the manga. Even if Vivi sees the crew again and spends time with them, it will be temporary and she will do everything to return to her country. She even says that she loves her country very much and that she can't leave it to join Luffy.
Coming back to Yamato, Oda didn't say stop abandoning the idea of Yamato Straw Hats, it's even the opposite! Oda keeps the hope alive.
Yamato makes Momo understand that even if she doesn't leave now, her steps will eventually lead her to the sea
In no case Yamato said I give up my dream, I don't want to join you anymore Luffy it's even the opposite
She still wants to be part of the crew and Luffy wants Yamato to join him.
