As the title says, do you think any other 1vs1 will put Zoro vs Mihawk in its shadow?
Will it be a greater, more awesome and harder battle?

Does any other fight have the same weight as the fight that has been set in stone since the very start of the manga?
Who can possibly overshadow the showdown between these two power-driven individuals?

Mihawk vs Zoro should be the greatest because it's the fight we are waiting for more than 20 years.
BB vs Luffy is not even sure, and i feel like EOS BB is gonna be so overpowered so i don't know, the end of their fight is gonna be a surprise ...

Aka Inu vs Luffy could also be great if it happens. Kaido vs Luffy also but we all know it's not gonna be 1 vs 1 from the beginning to the end.
But for now Mihawk vs Zoro is a safe bet, it has eveything to be the greatest. Blood incoming, deadly fight, promise, ambition! :steef:
The only thing i am afraid about is the fact Oda has trouble with swords fight, let's see!

Since Mihawk became Zoro's master and Zoro found an even greater ambition than becoming the WSS, which is to push Luffy forward as a right hand man, this battle kinda lost tension. It's not even clear whether he will face Mihawk or Mihawk dies beforehand. Or if they fight, it being off paneled. Like them charging towards each other with their first clash and then the fight being transitioned to Mihawk lying on the floor.

Only comparable fight will be Luffy vs Blackbeard (battle to become Pirate King) but even that will he trumped by Zoro vs Mihawk imo

Longest build-up, it's a REMATCH and the first fight involved Zoro getting absolutely merked which makes it even more exciting. Zoro will be avenging a humiliating and humbling loss. Not to mention, this fight will signify the completion of Zoro's dream.

The showing of Zoro's growth over the hundreds and hundreds of chapters in this battle, this is the fight im most hyped for hands down.

:seriously: Zoro's goal is already overshadowed by Luffy's
He himself bowed to Mihawk to get stronger and help Luffy be PK.

Mihawk vs Zoro won't happen. The battle lost its weight when Mihawk trained Zoro and when Mihawk got revoked as warlord
If it does, it won't overshadow any Yonko saga finale battles.

Y'all should stop reading fan feelings
Zoro doesn't need to beat Mihawk anymore.

Doesnt seem to be Luffy's last 1vs1 nor is it for sure to be his 1vs1...
And has a lot less weight than the showdown of the swordsmen.
The name needs to reach the heavens.

25 years of waiting for that?

Not being a warlord changes what about this fight?

Yonkos arent 1vs1 judging by everything so far.

The battle has no tension, no weight

It is basically useless, it will just je friendly battle between master and student where none is serious.

Nothing great about that.

Shanks vs luffy
Mihawk vs Zoro
Are fights that have no real weights. It won't be serious battles.

That's why Oda shafted them aside, they are not Strawhats enemies.

How will this fight come into being? Zoro obviously won't search for Mihawk before the war with the Yonko and WG ends and he has the freedom to do so. And after that, where will he find Mihawk? Mihawk is currently chased by the marines who now have their new overpowered weapon that replaces the Shichibukai.

Mihawk was never Zoro's enemy, he was in the way of his goal to be the strongest swordsman in the world.
And I missed the part where Zoro gave up on his dream, so...

That is the beauty of it, not knowing how, where and when it will happen.

Dude they would be fighting for the pk title, you really think zoro vs mihawk will be more epic?
Let the bias out for a little and think about it. BB was show super early too, with grand dreams and everyone and their mother talking about him now.

Tbh with you
I don't even think that BB vs Luffy will be his best fight..imo Luffy vs Akainu will be better
We dont even know if hes fighting akainu for sure.
We do know for damn sure that bb vs luffy is happening.
Oda planned to make yami bb stronger than 3 top tiers combined(admirals) but then he rejected that idea, but im not so sure its gone forever,he may just put that with 3 df fruits bb.

On one hand Oda will for sure spend more on BB vs Luffy, be it panel time, time to plan an awesome fight with pathos, climax, abilities, maybe that will even have the weight of Luffy who has to avenge Shanks and Roger vs Xebec will and maybe even some D vs celestial dragon stuff, don't know, Oda can play a lot of cards but Mihawk vs Zoro will for sure be way more "emotional" for me. I like both Luffy and BB but Zoro amd Mihawk are among the ones I like the most in the whole manga also they have a relationship of master-disciple at this point that is pretty mich like a Shanks vs Luffy (with the difference that Shanks vs Luffy most likely will not happen while Zoro vs Mihawk is set in stone).

vs Akainu, vs Gorosei, vs Imu are all happening most likely after vs Blackbeard and can be overshadowed, especially considering that most of Luffy's arsenal will not be used against Yami user who cancels other people's powers...
So, yes, Zoro vs Mihawk can easily be more epic than Luffy vs Blackbeard.

Blackbeard was introduced halfway Paradise while Mihawk was introduced halfway East Blue, way older match-up.
Blackbeard wasnt revealed a major villain until basically the end of Paradise. Nor is there a promise that he awaits Luffy at the top.
We dont even know if Blackbeard will be satisfied with being PK or will he turn to world dominance like Rocks...
