Imu biggest downfall is Garling:gokulaugh:
It was his idea to hold the genocide festival in God Valley


They lose many rare devil fruits to pirates


It's his fault that the Revolution Army was formed
It's his fault that Yonkos exists and rule the new world
I think some Holy Knights were killed by Rocks pirates

He loses Shakky to Rayleigh

If he hadn't fucked the redheaded woman, Shanks wouldn't have been born.


Without Shanks, the Nika fruit would not be stolen

Without Shanks, Luffy would be dead

Without Shanks, Nika wouldn't be born

Well, the Gorosei and Imu gave permission doing the hunt at God Valley. And Dragon would've formed the revolutionary army regardless of what island would've been the place for the human hunt; after all they're doing this once every three years.

Though yeah. that chain of events can be traced back to Garling ultimately. Which makes him quite intriguing.

A bit overly harsh, to be honest.

Do you actually think the revolutionary army and the Yonko would never exist if Garling was never born? Obviously he is responsible for Shanks being born, but aside from that? No, I don´t think so.

And wrt to Nika, the implication is that the fruit has a will of it´s own and is evading the government. While we don´t know exactly what this means in practice, it seems that it always slips out of the governments hands, so I don´t know if that´s Garlings fault either.

Imu´s downfall is probably not consolidating all three ancient weapons.

I think so too, yeah.
I think Garling descends from those who lived in MJ originally, so he has a right to the throne.
BB descends from the original AK royalty, so he too has a right.
Shanks has half of Garling's rights, and half of BB's, sharing into the Davy lineage.
So, in the end it'll be Redhair vs Blackbeard for the throne, with Whitehair (G5) helping his idol.
