why people get upset over jinbe's bounty but not on crocs? 
Jimbei‘s bounty increase is based on what he did in Wano and we have 2 other SH‘s that did way more than him yet are below him or barely above. His huge bounty increase doesn’t make sense. All he did was defeat a 560mil Toppi Roppo, while the other 2 defeated YC‘s worth over 1.3bil.
The ‘‘he was a Shichibukai so he also got a increase for that‘‘ argument doesn’t work here since he is not a Shichibukai for over 2 years and didn’t get this ridiculous boost.
Robin defeated a TP with a 480mil bounty, she did something comparable to Jimbei. But her boost to 930mil is because of her knowledge and past. Jimbei should have been above Robin, because he defeated someone stronger and already had a higher bounty than Robin (Robins boost not included) - in around the 700mil range. Based on achievements Robin would be below that at 500+ to 600+mil. And honestly there would be nothing wrong with Jimbei being below Robin because of her boost, that atleast would be based on something, not like now.
There is honestly not a single logical reason for Jimbei‘s high bounty besides, make him above Robin and make a gag scene with Sanji.
Crocs bounty increase is based on his alliance with Mihawk and Buggy and their Marine hunting organization.
Honestly sanji fans would have started a riot if jinbe who just joined the crew would have fought queen instead of sanji so oda made the right call even though jinbe is stronger. This also made an opportunity for sanji to get his ass kicked and awaken his germa modifications.
Jinbe is too humble and already probably at or just past his prime age wise, he's not going to come in and steal sanjis thunder the same day he officially joined the crew, it made more sense for him to hang back and pick up the slack. As for him having a higher bounty than sanji, it leaves an opening for sanji to eventually surpass jinbe, he's just not there yet.
Also keep in mind that we have yet to see what jinbe is truly capable of, we've only seen a glimpse of what he's capable of in the water where he is exponentially stronger and we haven't seen him have to go all out on land. He had no trouble with who's who.

the real mistake here is oda not making him fight jack and sidelining him in onigashima after finally joining the crew 
Jinbei totally should have fought Jack. That's why I hated most of the Scabbards cuz they stole some of the potential match-ups. Chopper and Brook didn't have a 1v1 fight in Wano and they could have fought Perospero who almost turns them into candies in WCI for revenge. But nope, man got wasted by Neko.
Nah, Sanji fans don't mad at Jinbei for having higher bounty than him (Robin and Usopp got higher bounties than Sanji at some point but Sanji fans didn't got mad). But Sanji fans are mad at people using Jinbei's bounty as an excuse for pushing Jinbei > Sanji agenda.
This is just another Sanji having higher bounty than Zoro moment, in the future, Sanji will have third highest bounty again.

Not a mistake imo. Jinbei would probably even have a higher bounty if he was independent like the rest of the ex warlords.
Probably something in the 1.3Billion range.
Sanji is stronger for sure but Jinbei is still a mighty pirate and one of the most infamous names for sure. Just look at how every supernova is reacting when they hear he is now a strawhat.
Sanji bounty though is still pretty impressive and he isn't hugely outclassed by Zoro and Jinbei since the three are in the same ballpark. The important thing was Oda didn't exclude him from the Billion club the way he did the 100m club back at Saboady.
