One interesting thing I noticed this chapter is that Joyboy and Shanks seem to have basically the same getup.

As you can see, Joyboy has the exact same type of cape as Shanks, both wore the Straw Hat, both have their sleeves rolled up halfway up their forearms, and both wear quarter pants. Joyboy's hair even looks like it's slicked back like Shanks's

However, just like Ryuma is a copy of Zoro, to a point of them having similar scars, Joyboy will look like a copy of Luffy. It would be in character for Oda to even give him the same scars, including the one under his eye.

Inherits Rayleigh’s sword and personality
