At this point, not even a black void or anything like that that was being theorized will be very useful here for Gojo, there's no point in a powerful attack being that he's inside an expansion, which is the apex of a Jujutsu technique, the level expansion they have is almost absolute in a battle, it's entered = died. Unless he pulls off an extremely convenient technique to cancel Mizushi, the only way for Gojo to make it out alive is to flee the expansion area.

Problem is that Sukuna's insane amount of energy was said, even if Gojo runs away, he probably manages to expand the expansion again, that is, it goes back to 0, the fight is basically already decided as said. The two options now are for Sukuna himself to close the expansion in order to “play” more or for Gojo to use a very convenient technique that nullifies Mizushi. That's because he didn't even start using shadows, or even his other techniques, like fire, the situation for Gojo right now is pretty bad.

This is why Sukuna will "spare" Gojo because he's that cocky man.

He wants more fun.

Sukuna don't like to play around.
He won't give a second chance to Gojo.

Gojo will bounce back after seeing a barrierless domain and create a similar one.

But there is always a chance of someone else interfering in the fight, even for a second.

The point is, Sukuna won't act like an ordinary villain who allows protag enough time to recover and challenge him again.

Not this time.

He likes his fight with Gojo.

This is the entire "I'll show you love" point. (Imo).

From a technical pov (from what I got so far) Gojo shouldn't survive this if Sukuna def wanted to end him asap.

He wouldn't give him the time to do anything before annihilatting him, though he will for plot reasons.

This shit aint killing Gojo. It's just Gege leaving us with a "shocking" ending.

RCT + Falling Blossom Emotion/Simple Domain or just teleport the fuck out of Malevolent Shrine's range.

We're only 3 chapters in this fight, even Hakari v Kashimo lasted longer. This aint the end for sure.
