Geto's body served its purpose (sealing Gojo).

Remember, it was not useful in his fight against Yuki.
Geto's CT is not final villain level (yes, I said it).

Just imagine what Kenjaku will do with Takaba's CT.
It fits well with overall JJK theme; Antagonsits being extremely overpowered.

narratively and plotline the main villian is currently Sukuna, the Madara of JJK while Kenjaku is Obito.

You do realize the students from the dozens of chapters you wanked with GoatJo vs Sukuna they've been explaining their plans for scenario A, B, C through Z why would after stating they can't afford to split their forces would they make a plan that would not only deplete Yutas reserves but waste time while being the strongest force they currently have to fight Sukuna atm.... they opted for GoaTakba and Yuta utilized this opportunity to capitalize on weaking the opposing forces and giving the students a better chance at reaching their wincon... this has been explained narratively.....
