Strength -- Nothing in between. He's either YC level minimum or to be written off like Momo.

Design -- Probably just a subjective Oda design. I don't think he will be purposely ugly like Weevil since that cuts into his role.

Character -- Building a Katakuri or an Oden would require loads of screen time, this is doubtful. At the same time if Oda wanted to make a completely throwaway and unremarkable character, he wouldn't be Kaido's son. Plenty of Headliners fill such roles. The editor said there is a big plan for even Weevil. We'll just say this guy is characterized better than the average named side character, like a Jack or a Queen.

We got Ace with top tier design, Weevil with unique and grotesque design, Kaido son is going to be a mix between Ace and Weevil.

In chapter his talking about flying six to meet Big Mom not his son. I'm not claiming (I'm not a Zoro fan Boy) and even I can't believe that Katakuri is Kaido's son but all the evedents pointing out on it, and remember that Katakuri was theorised to be Kaido's son even before we find out that he has one.

Unless something really weird happened with Big Mom's pregnancy, Daifuku, Oven and Katakuri share the same father.
