Character Discussion Kaido should have been treated like WB. Why does Oda only hype up good guys, and not the villains?

The vast majority of pirates don´t know where the RP´s are, and plenty aren´t interested. The only known clash Kaido had with any top tier since Oden is him running away from Shanks(good guy)

Those who know are all strong characters.
And for shanks , kaidou was accompanied by King , who believes Only joyboy can beat kaidou.
Even if you consider Shanks is stronger Kaidou, will shanks move out unscathed from the fight with kaidou?
They never really fought is the possible answer.

He ran away from Shanks, if it was something else, Oda has had 15 years to give it to us, and didn´t. Not even in the arc dedicated to the man. This is literally the treatment of the most hyped pirate villain in OP so far, running away from a war because a good guy shows up....

Do you seriously think average yonkou would be running away from other yonkou?

Kaidou isn't MC or MC related side character. Why would he get an arc dedicated to him?

And wasn't wano all kaidou Dedicated? It's been since Punk Hazard. Kaidou downfall was all planned.

It´s simple, he was going to go kill WB, but Shanks came/ clashed with him and he gave up on the plan. Shanks then went to the war. Yes, Wano is Kaido dedicated and we never got a reasoning for Kaido running away,which is my point

Whitebeard didn't go to wano
Gaban didn't go to wano
Gorosei didn't wanna anger kaidou
Marines admiral said he don't wanna come if kaidou was here.

Kaido knew about Joyboy for years before Marineford, Oden mentioned it at his execution that Joyboy would come if Wano opened the borders. Shanks wasn´t at laughtale and doesn´t even know as much as Oden. He ran away when he returned to Wano and gave up on trying to kill WB or go to the worlds biggest war(his dream is literally to die in a war and his intro scene is praising WB for doing so)

Shanks didn´t want to go to wano, sure I can grant that
Wb had no reason to go to Wano, he wasn´t interested in revenge because it would lead to too many casualties, He wasn´t interested in RP or anything like that.
Gaban never said he was afraid to go Wano or anything like that. He still hasn´t gone to Wano despite Momo getting in power weeks ago in universe, he isn´t planning a trip either. He´s retired and has a kid
Gorosei aren´t good guys and they still did anger Kaido, only one of them questioned the decision
Greenbull isn´t a good guy, and he had no interest in Wano aside from capturing Luffy.

Again, characters not wanting to invade Kaidos main territory is not comparable to characters shitting themselves at the idea of WB invading marineford. The fleet admiral was talking about him being able to destroy the world. No Villain has ever had portrayal like that in like 30 years of OP

They didn´t ¨come to fight him¨. WB invaded marineford and they defended it. Also, you do know Kaido isn´t unique in that the marines don´t invade his territory unprovoked, right? That´s the very idea of Yonko territory

Never forget, Oda decided to have a major villain run away from a retired good guy like Rayleigh. Any arc before WCI, the problem could have been solved by Rayleigh just showing up.

To be fair they said whitebeard is the strongest after Roger so I don’t see why there would be a similar portrayal for a villain to be that powerful outside imu

whitebeard got knocked off early for a reason imo

- You all mention how Kaido has best feats but I am asking you against who are those feats performed aside from Luffy ? Kid , Killer , 9 scabbards, Yamato ; well Shanks one shot Kid and Killer and even Greenbull quickly overpowered and captured with his vines 5 scabbards and Yamato , he quickly overpowered weakened King and Queen at same time . Only proper fighter there was Luffy and Kizaru demonstrated fighting Luffy ain't that much of a big deal throwing shade on Kaido performance against Luffy.

- Whitebeard was never thrown to the ground by opponent , Kaido was eating dust by Oden , 9 scabbard , Kid slam and many times by Luffy.

- Even Big Mom when talking about giants army separates Whitebeard from Kaido and Shanks .

- Whitebeard is said to choose to sit below the throne instead on it , he was called king of the seas after Roger passing and entire era was called Whitebeard era once by Shiki and couple times in Marineford arc, meanwhile Kaido needs alliance with Big mom for one piece.

Whitebeard reputation and status was never put into question or downplayed by anyone , meanwhile Kaido reputation is downplayed by Oda himself with many events that throw shade on statements he gave to Kaido before.
