But Shanks losing via an off-screen fight in egghead island? That's simply not how Oda writes one piece.
If Kid beats Shanks, it would be at the end of elbaf. The climax of elbaf could be the downfall of every yonko bar Luffy, setting up Luffy to be the PK. Luffy beats Teach, Kid beats Shanks, Law beats Cross Guild(but not Mihawk).
