its massively using haki in general not just coc
and no its not comparable to gear 4 which would always have that limitation because it requires coa to keep shape.
you can learn to fight with enma in a stable manner like oden did , zoro would be capable of that eventually i.e use coc when it matters and use less haki when it doesnt.

well of course. But in the manga Goofy gets a vanshot from Apu, and Zoro a vanshot Apu. Goofy on the roof loses consciousness three times while Zoro withstood the Hakai and leaves a Kaido Scar saving a rubber ass. Goofy was lucky that Nika entered it, otherwise the King of Hell>Goofy 4 gir+acoc

Zoro now spm gives Enma (and other swords) the right amount of haki in the koh mode. Enma went crazy only with a lack of haki. Now Zoro is giving her the required amount

Enma is not needed for Koh Mode. It's just symbolism. As Zoro showed, he gives the same amount of acoc +acoa to all blades. He also covered acoc only Sanday

He named it after the sword that helped him develop koh (not hold back hacks). But now Zoro does it on any sword, go on three at once. Otherwise, koh would only be on enma. Even in the anime, the feoletovy khaki (which was forcibly stretched by enma) turned green on three blades when zoro independently poured koh into all the blades

When zoro chooses to go all out with his haki we see excess smoke from all three blades and black lightning signifying advCoc haki
When he used bird dance there is no excess smoke coming off of zoro blade signifying that he is not using excess ryou here but as the black lightning shows he is flowing advcoc.
Bird dance was not a King Of Hell attack because zoro was not flowing both excessive amounts of advcoa and advcoc.
