While Pirate Hunter was lame in english version, it was badass in japanese "Kaizoku Gari", i feel the opposite now. "En Ou" is better but as Den said, Oda deliberately choose "Jigoku" because of hell and the alternative signification "highest samurai" fit to Zoro^^

Zoro will be called En'ou not jigoku no ou.

Hmm, to make this post short think of it like this:

Jigoku no ou and en'ou means the same. It's just the kanji of 'En' alone doesn't mean hell. The reason why it's translated to hell King it's because it's an abbreviation of enma-ou. That's the main reason why Zoro didn't say En no ou and said jigoku no ou for us to understand.

And to give another detail, meiou(Rayleigh's title), letting aside the translation of dark king, he is another type of king of hell, in Rayleigh's case its the king of the world of the dead. So calling Zoro 'Jigoku no ou' alone would be confusing.

To give just one more example, jigoku no ou and En'ou are the same as kaizouku no ou and kaizouku ou. Kaizouku no ou means the king of the pirates and kaizouku ou means pirate king. Roger's title was pirate King, Luffy's title will be pirate King but still the word king of the pirates is still used in a lot of places. It will be the same with Zoro, his title will be En'ou, hell king, but still the word jigoku no ou, king of hell will be used. But not as their title.
