I think the rules are a bit muddy regarding the differences between the tiers. Can someone beat a guy that is 1-2 tiers above them in certain conditions?

I believe so
Kanki could beat Riboku
Duke could beat anyone
Some of the martial generals on a plain could do great but in a siege or mountain warfare i'm betting on the strategist

Absolutely. I refer you to Ousen defeating Riboku at Shukai Plains lol. Or Mougou defeating Renpa at Sanyou. Give Heki good enough subs and he can defeat Hakuki.

Yes but Renpa can beat Riboku in a frontal clash with his own skill. If that is still possible with a difference in tiers based on the logic you guys use for these lists then I have no qualms.

Yes but Renpa can beat Riboku in a frontal clash with his own skill. If that is still possible with a difference in tiers based on the logic you guys use for these lists then I have no qualms.

The likes of Kanmei and Moubu would obliterate Riboku in a frontal clash. They still belong below Riboku as does Renpa. Riboku is capable of scoring larger victories in more overwhelming a fashion than Kanmei, Moubu, or Renpa.

TIER LIST TAKE 2!!!

Couple notes:

1. Hakuki was originally gonna be the big 3 but I decided that Gakuki and Riboku are the representations of that, at least for now. Remember that Ouki and Hakuki are extremely close, to the point where it's been rumored that the former was actually the strongest of the bunch.

I put a lot of stock into Ouki's "unprescendented level" comment that he made about Riboku.

And it thematically fits since those are the only two that have initiated and lead a Coalition in that era.

2. Really fucking upset that the Ouki commanders ended up being that low but there was nothing I could do unless I BS it. Tou army is complete dodoo in comparison to his peers.

3. Karin seems extremely low coming from me of all people, but I just wanted to fill that tier with a couple more people and this is only her current version anyway. EOS Karin is a different beast that yall ain't ready for but that's a different discussion... lol.

@TheKnightOfTheSea on the subject of the most underrated Kingdom characters of all time, I’ve come to the conclusion that the most underrated Great General in the history of Kingdom, no question, without a single doubt, is Kanmei. Lol

Nah @FutureWarrior123 much better. I have some disagreements about the positions of characters within their tiers but I think you got the tiers right and that is the important part.

My only critique is that I was hoping for more tiers

I personally put Ordo above Bananji, Akou, Ji Aga, Kan Saro, Chougaryuu etc Just based off his important role for an entire state.

Well Ordo is still mostly unproven, so he could still deliver but if you asked me if some less impressive Great Generals like Seikai or Choutou are automatically above Generals like Akou, Bananji, Kan Saro, Keisha etc. because of their title then I am going to say no, they are not. Lol.

Not necessarily. I think the likes of Gyou’Un or Rinko would straight up mug Mougou or Choutou. Hell we already saw Kanmei handle Oukotsu when Kanmei was only a general.

As for the likes of Ordo, it really is tough to say right now. For now I assume he’s above the Heavenly Kings but we’ll see.

Not really. To be honest it didn’t feel right for me to place Mougou above generals like Rihaku or Fuuki in my tier list lol.

some could. Akou and Kyou'En definitely could, but other Heavenly King tier generals like Bananji and Ranbihaku wouldn't make the cut because they lack the ability to command large enough armies imo
