You are basically saying that 5,000 Man Commander Ouhon and Shin already surpassed two members of the old Qin 6 lol.
I doubt current Shin and Ouhon are beating Oukotsu and Kyou.
Oukotsu and Kyou literally built their legends on defeating Juukou caliber generals. Literally the lands that make up Qin now were once small states just like Man’U’s, all boasting their own Great Generals and head-of-state militaries.
And these are the exact people that Kyou and Oukotsu defeated time and time again.

Quite frankly I don't think Oukotsu can be anything else other than another Moubu. It feels like that's the only role he can take.

You realise that Riboku was busy for an entire year to come up with a strategy specifically designed to keep Shin away from SBS, if that isn't hype than I don't know what is. The most dangerous man on the battlefield.
It's the same with the billions of Xiognu leaders Bananji killed or Rinbunkun. Yes there were probably decent ones among the group but without confirmation you can't just say Oukotsu and Kyou were negging Man'U level generals every Sunday.

Every single other member of the Ou family is quite intelligent. Oukotsu should be too. At least to an extent.He's not of the same type as Moubu imo based off Ouki and Tou's reactions.
As a commander Gyou'un bullies Gaimou with instincts and strategies. Though tbh I still think him versus Kochou or Keisha is debatable but he would decimate in a direct clash. Prime Gyou'un could be above them. He's better than SSJ who's been an opponent for a Qin 6 twice now.
No way he's above Kyou, she's literally the Qin version of Gyou'un's master lol

But in a large scale war Gyou'un would decimate Gaimou's army.
Gaimou just isn't smart enough to deal with Gyou'un. He literally announced his position on the battlefield, literally peak moron lol
I don't see his strategist being able to deal with Gyou'un's instinctual warfare and knowledge of advanced strategy. Gyou'un also has 10 Spears too.
If Gaimou is acting under the orders of an advanced strategist like Gouhoumei or Reiou... Yeah he can win.
Gaimou didn't even recognize Duke Hyou's name. He and his army would likely be completely unprepared for dealing with an instinctual too

Gai Mou is basically Shin with size and more experience. He doesn't need to use flashy tactics or strategy. His strength simply won't be denied.
Just because Gyou'un knows some strategy and has gotten the opportunity to display his Instincts doesn't mean he's better.

Shin has more than Gaimou though bro.
They both have impressive strength and decent strategists, but Shin has instinctual abilities that allowed him to help out Ten when she was getting massacred by Gyou'un. Shin also has tool powerful swords in Kyoukai and Kyourei. Gaimou doesn't have any shown notable subordinate other than the strategist who seems decent, but that's all.
If Gyou'un charges into a dual he would lose though, but I think Gaimou could get stalled for a lengthy period and lose lots of men
His martial feats during the Fire Dragon arc are impressive but nothing mind blowing, and they're all he has. That's just my take, but I feel like if stats didn't exist, he wouldn't be regarded as highly. Not saying he isn't as strong as stats indicate though

We have seen more from Shin. The story has not required Gai Mou to get in his bag.
It's entirely premature to presume the extent of his abilities when all Gai Mou was doing amounted to having fun after 14 years of imprisonment. Do you not find that kind of carelessness indicative of a confidence founded on monstrous warfaring ability?
For all we know Gai Mou is an Instinctual Type himself, and if he is, he certainly didn't need to demonstrate that during the WFD when the Wei had superior numbers and it hadn't crossed GHM's mind Tou would delegate so much to his subordinates.
