I'll see if I can find it but there was a short by this exotic animal collector (kind of like tiger king) and he said brown bears were the only animal he had that he wouldn't enter the enclosure of (he had tigers and lions) because even a playing around brown bear can accidentally kill you way easier than the other animals (their hides and skin are so thick that a playful swipe between bears is disemboweling a human) @Fujishiro @SakazOuki

Yeah their hides and skin are also very elastic and it makes sense because they are constantly fighting each other and bear fights a brutal as fuck.

Yeah PB are bigger then grizzlies and average Kodiaks however the biggest Kodiaks are bigger then PBs by a bit. Thats because Kodiaks ( which is a subset of brown bears like the Grizzlies) live in an island where there is a loooooooooooooooot of food available to them.

I mean bear was way too close to use the rifle lol, Polar Bears are the only type of bear that only eat meat and nothing else. They view humans as food and will go towards them instead of away from them.
