Well as far as we know Sasaki isn't at all involved in what happened to the Scabbards.
But anyway, that's not the point. The point is this is a Oda telling the story. He does not have good guys kill bad guys in straight fights. He doesn't even have many bad guys kill good guys in straight fights. He doesn't like showing death in One Piece.
And this wasn't even in a fight, this would have been cold blooded murder. Why the actual hell would anyone expect Denjiro to kill Sasaki here when in 982 chapters death has become rarer and rarer? Are we going to get complaints that every villain we've ever had is still alive now?

Leaving a strong enemy restrained but alive, completely healthy and at best guarded by fodders in a hostile territory while at least 5 others strong foes and 2 crews (Who's Who's and Sasaki's ones) are looking for someone in the same area is foolish 
The man literally yells at Denjiro with open arms (usually something you do when going for a hug or going "ayeeee brrothaa whatsss goood?") and a giant smile on his face. Even laughs in a friendly way while conversing with him. They've talked with each other to an extent that Sasaki knows/thinks that Denjiro loved his Pompadour, while Kyoshiro knows Sasaki isn't the type to leave the party.
Even his reaction here is like "Yo wtf you doing bro?? What's the big idea here?"
Just based on their interaction you can tell the dudes know each other pretty well and are on good terms.
The fact that Denjiro asks Sasaki that whether he knows the History of Wano and Sasaki has a ?! tells us Sasaki is clueless about it.
So obviously Denjiro isn't gonna kill a guy he's on friendly terms with and possibly is good friends with.. who is oblivious to the history of Wano, when he went out of his way to completely restrain him.
Oda can either be saving Sasaki for post-Raid war, or having Sasaki turn good and joining the fight against the Beast Pirates later. But as far as this raid is concerned, Sasaki is out of the way now:

Sasaki got left chained up behind. Denjiro even says "Gag him", there would be no reason for Denjiro to chain up and gag Sasaki if he planned to kill him

Where are all those dickheads who got on me for clowning Sasaki in the spoiler thread? Do you see this shit? My opinion seems a little more benign now, doesn’t it?

As you did in the spoiler thread, you completely miss my point. I never once said Denjiro beat Sasaki, but that he tricked him and made him look like a fool. The chapter even bears out that this was all it took to “take out one of the troublesome Flying Six,” meaning he’s gonna be chained there a while. Now someone says Denjiro might have KILLED Sasaki, and we’re all taking it seriously? Why is this more acceptable than me saying Sasaki is being portrayed as a dipshit?
