General & Others Law and Kid vs Big Mom was very disappointing

Really the only good thing about the fight was it had real tension, because the end result was a complete question mark. Very rare thing to happen for a One Piece fight.
Big Mom being a punching bag shouldn't be surprising though, that's all she's ever been. The real surprise was how piss poor her attacks were for a top tier.

Although I was very disappointed with the fight overall, one of the things I actually liked about the fight was the conclusion. How it ended was pretty satisfying because all 3 characters looked impressive. Big Mom looked better than I thought she would towards the end with her monstrous endurance. Kid overpowering Big Mom’s aCoC with his railgun was a good display on how strong the attack actually was. Law silencing Big Mom was a good homage to the best flashback character Corazon.
This fight had its downs, but I think I was a bit over critical with this post. Oda does have a knack of being very inconsistent powerscaling wise so I probably shouldn’t look too deep into it. The fight isn’t as bad as I initially thought tho, it was still a lot left to be desired and very disappointing given how it’s a fight where a Yonko falls.

I think the more important question to be asked is what was the point of Big Mom even being in Wano? What was the whole point of the conversation between Marco, Big Mom and Perospero? What was the point of the alliance? What was the point between the conversation between Big Mom and Kaido when Big Mom asked him where his red poneglyphs are?
Way more interesting than the Kaido fight, because we had some real tension, a real growing on each character, new interesting techniques and solutions for different problems and also some flashy moments.

He could have done both, haki and DF. No matter how the retarded Oda try to be creative with his power system and make varieties it won’t work anymore since it was already established that Haki is the supreme power system in the verse. Now due to his idiocy it made it seem like Zoro who is a YC1 and Yamato are waaaay more powerful than the 3 combatants involved but someone as dumb as Oda doesn’t care about the power system as long as he is satisfied narratively
Most people who complain about the fight don't look at it in his entirity. It started on the rooftop.
Basically that battle was starting before it started.
