You can use all the laughing emojis, the entire One Piece fandom except one kind of people agreed that Sanji didn't look or couldn't do anything against King. you can give 1000 excuses, it's not about being thrown away which is the issue but the fact he was literally asking to let him go, begging for his life and his stomach, that's what happened!

Well obviously Sanji was not aware of his own stregnth, that's the point. That's hype for the RS, build up the attack with King saying it's one that will kill Sanji, and Sanji and Luffy thinking it's very dangerous, only to end up doing no lasting damage because of how durable Sanji is now with the RS.
Sanji through out Wano did not take a single "L". Again, it's the double standards and a group here probably living in their own little bubble that seems to have transitioned over from OJ, where everything Sanji does is an "L".
Except now is more delusional than ever, because though out the arc, performance wise Sanji's been fantastic. If roles were reversed and Sanji was in Zoro's place with the bleeding from nails, fainting, crazy bleeding from Queen spitting him out and so on, you'd be spamming that shit 24/7
The distinction here is that i'm not really tying to shit on Zoro or make King seem weak, the way some just post with this agenda to trash Sanji. I might joke around in a couple of posts because it's a bit funny how exaggerated Oda made Zoro's bleeding, but i always acknowledge that Zoro is stronger than Sanji.
Same with King, i'm not downplaying him because Sanji could take that attack. It was established that it's a very, very powerful attack with how worried Luffy and Sanji were about it. That would fuck up almost any character in those conditions. It's hype for Sanji with the RS that he could take it, but takes nothing from King being Kaido's strongest subordinate.
That's another issue some of you guys seem to have. You can't seem to understand that Sanji for example doing great against an established strong character takes nothing away from that character, it just gives Sanji extra hype. King is still a beast, you don't need to shit on Sanji because you feel insecure about the damage his attack dealt. That's Sanji hype, not King downplay :cheers:
