For me the only ones definitely better:
Wire
Mr. Robot
Mad Men
Fargo first two seasons at least
And probably Succession if they do not fuck up the last two episodes
And then there are others you can make an argument for, but itΒ΄s more tricky.
Sopranos comes to mind, especially since imo it features the best performance of an actor in a TV show at least, but narratively it was definitely weaker than BB.
After watching the last two episodes of Succession, yeah, one of the best ever, they pulled it off and did not fuck it up.

Started it. Half a season in, and it's good, however, I feel like it's a bit slow at times, but I guess it's cuz it's the starting season.
They are setting context and characters up, itΒ΄s understandable.
Season 1s, especially if it is an original show, are rarely representative of the entire show, cast and crew are just getting used to it.
Breaking Bad seemed like pure comedy in the first season for the most part, and if the writerΒ΄s strike did not happen, and thus first season was cut from 9 to 7 episodes, Jesse and Hank were supposed to die...
Looking at the rest of the show, totally unthinkable.
