Character Discussion Luffy doesn’t get the respect that he deserves!

Sanji running from Queen: Sanji having a character crisis based on a previously established relationship oda spent a large arc building
Luffy running from Katakuri: If he doesn’t he’ll die. And Katakuri then having a completely different character at the end of the fight than at the beginning to give luffy a chance to win.
One had build up and was related to the character. Luffy running from Katakuri was just Odas way of prolonging the fight pointlessly.
And yeah Katakuri had “Help” but he didn’t ask for it and instead stabbed himself and this “help” did more to help luffy win than Katakuri.
And where’s your source on this Doffy stuff. Doffy didn’t mitigate the damage? He said outright it wasn’t healing he was just allowing himself to survive.

I don’t care if Katakuri helped or not it still affected Luffy as he was getting closer Katakuris level.
Running in order to restore your power so that you can figure out how to beat someone that you can’t even hit when he can’t move until you get back.
Running in the middle of a war from someone who could easily kill and was going to kill your crew if you hadn’t showed up while you can still fight is complete and utter bullshit. Sanji fans kill me Luffy would have done anything to protect his crew. Sanji literally has an emotional moment in war.
Stitching is obviously mitigating damage. Also I Doffy said in SBS Luffy could run away without Gatz and would have found a way to win without the help.

Yeah Luffy was getting closer to Katakuris power; but Katakuri only lost because Katakuri for some reason changed his entire personality.
