No top tier will ever be Luffy's main serious fight again outside of Imu and Teach
Even though Shanks is a yonko, I don't see luffy fighting to death against his beloved idol.
Akainu isn't above Luffy
Admirals and Gorosei were already treated as non serious opponents
Loki will get humbled in a clash and acceot Luffy as Nika

Portrayal wise nobody can stop Loki if he were to free himself as the world would be brought to ruin, and this comes from a member of the Giant Pirates himself who should know the strenght of his two captains.
he's likely capping as I'm sure Loki would get stopped but this is an actual portrayal, not clumsy bounty scaling (that puts Midd on the same level as Kizaru)

Literally every single one of my major Egghead predictions came true:
-Luffy vs Kizaru would be a win for neither character
-Luffy would not defeat Saturn
-The arc is an escape arc centered around the Vegapunk speech
-Luffy and the Straw Hats would not be defeated
-None of the Gorosei would be defeated
So, using the exact same methodology that I used to predict Egghead with a near 100% success rate, my prediction is thus:
Loki will fight Gear 5 as a “sport” fight. This will not be a knock down drag out fight to the death but a fight more akin to Luffy vs Sandersonia and Marigold where whether Luffy won’t be serious, or where Loki won’t be fully serious.
Here’s what I want to happen:
-Loki reveals some truth to Luffy that he doesn’t like. Probably some truth about the nature of Saint Shanks’s cowardice. Either Saint Shanks poisoned Loki, or perhaps even that Saint Shanks poisoned the King of Elbaph and Loki really didn’t even kill his own father but simply took his Devil Fruit after Saint Shanks killed him. This would result in an angry Luffy, who refuses to except the truth about his bitch-ass idolo, vs a Loki who knows he is angering and trolling Luffy but proceeds anyway. Neither character really wins or loses, but there is something that happens over the course of the fight that makes them realize they should ally or whatever. Probably Woki realizing that Nika is the Soy God.
Here’s what I would bet would happen:
-Woki fights Nika seriously because he believes he is the true Sun God. Nika fights Woki but is less serious than Woki, and kind of wins the fight in a trolling manner, similar to the way Luffy “beat” Sandersonia and Marigold. Which is that he didn’t really beat them but just proved that he was a good character or whatever and the fight ended. Woki will realize Nika is the true Soy God or whatever and the fight ends when Woki realizes Luffy is the true Sun God of Elbaph prophecy.
Overall power levels: It depends on what Loki’s exact roll in this series is. If his purpose is to anger Luffy in accepting that Saint Shanks isn’t who Luffy has always seen him as, I could genuinely see Woki being stronger than Luffy but will still capitulate the fight to him when he accepts the fact that Nika is the true Sun God. If Option 2 is correct, then Woki may appear like Sandersonia and Marigold, which is arguably stronger than the Luffy they fought but still kind of “loses” anyway.
Either way Woki is a definitive top tier. That’s where I’d put my money.

This one thought that only after Luffy defeats the final villain will he be able to take on Kaido 1v1 in a fight.
