Current Events Luffy was still gonna lose even without CP0

#23
Maybe but it's not sure

First : The fact that it's the same end as Oden vs Kaido.
Kaido's last attack against Luffy triggered a FB about his Victory against Oden
For this reason we can assume Luffy's last attack could have beat Kaido as After Paradise Totsuka Oden could have won unfortunately both fight were interrupted.

Moreover if Luffy's defeat was sure it wouldn't make sense to put this FB there

2nd : During Luffy vs Katakuri
Katakuri could tank a Black mamba pretty fine and still looked in good shape however he couldn't tank the King Cobra
Luffy could tank the first buzz cut mochi but the last one Ko'ed him (like Luffy could tank the first Roaring TB but probably not the second one)
It's not even the first instance were a character could tank an attack fine the first Time but the exact same one or a similar attack back to back put him down

3rd : Both Luffy and Kaido used their strongest attack known, both could tank it once but the second one Ko'ed Luffy

Kaido got white eyes and fell from SKG but could get UP from it quickly

Luffy got white eyes and fell but could get UP quickly

Those two attack got the exact same effects the first time and were both reused as finishers it's not a stretch to said that the second one could have Koed Kaido

Saying Kaido could have tank the second one as fine as the second one is dumb as both Kaido and Luffy were doing cumulative damages

I will wait for the next chapter before going a definitive opinion

Lol don't know if this is even a debate

=> Kaido almost one shot Luffy again with Roaring TB, it is Luffy sheer will power that restraint himself from getting beaten and prolong G4 for his last attack.
Another hit will put him down no debate, and he's about to get hit by that again on last panel with Kaido also receiving the attack.

=> Luffy was undeniably on his last leg, meanwhile Kaido?? He look like he was just getting started lol, especially when the Killing spree drunk phase kicks in

=> if Cp0 doesn't interfere, both of them will exchange blows to one another with their attack,
And the person who think Kaido is the one to end up getting KOed are the most retard among retard.

Don't need even 10 IQ to understand that Cp0 intervention was to save Luffy instead, such that Kaido wouldn't proceed to kill Luffy like he did Oden. For Kaido character build up purposes. Good thing Oda

Im genuinely very surprised too see some comments here, still doesn't sure whether Luffy is losing the fight LOL. This forum......

:seriously:

Not sure if Luffy would lose but Oda just wants CP0 to interferes for plot convenience.
I doubt Luffy was going to win. The way Luffy was speaking this chapter and the one before screams he is not going to make it and Kaido looked fine even after all of his fighting not even a hint of declining in Strength compared to Luffy.

Holy shit people really saying that Luffy would have KO'd Kaido if he landed this attack. The complete parallel with Oden is not applicable here, the only thing is that Kaido got in a super hit on a distracted opponent. Kaido's condition before landing the hit on Oden and his condition before landing this hit on Luffy are completely different, in Oden's case Kaido was completely vulnerable and on the verge of defeat which is absolutely not the case here.

I agree... Remember that it should've been Luffy's final blow... CP0 boss seems to be a tool in order for Luffy to recuperate while Kaido is distracted (Kaido will attempt to kill the one who distracted him)... Still, it won't take away the fact that Kaido still needs distractions to win because it is what happened...

If CP0 boss didn't appear, Kaido will go down and kill everyone after beating Luffy...

Kaido thought it was a possibility to lose against Oden which made the ending have the bitter feel, JUST AS IT MAKES THIS ENDING HAVE A BITTER FEEL. If there is no possibility for Kaido going down, then it was a foregone conclusion so no bitter feel.
Kaido was in better condition and with all of his trump cards unrevealed against Oden. Kaido has taken severe internal damage from much more powerful attacks repeatedly.

It matters because kaido after taking 60 plus attacks and fighting 16 characters non stop while lifting an island defeated G4 Adv coc luffy who fed recently
It doesn't matter. Luffy also suffered a lot of damage throughout the chapters and is still kicking. Kaido is a relic from the past that must and will be defeated, as was Big Mom. He is strong, but Luffy is actually on his level being 40 years younger and without his awakening. Just accept that the mf strawhat is gonna destroy the old pirate and move on. There is nothing you can do about it.

Not even close to what kaido has suffered lol ; rest of the things has nothing to do with Waido though

How can you calculate the damage? Do you have an instrument that can measure it precisely? Lmao. Luffy was destroyed in his first confrontation with Kaido, then again, and then sustained more damage against Big Mom and Kaido. Now he has been fighting for a long time against the beast and been taking more damage as the fight goes on. Did Kaido said at any moment that he was weaker? He said to Luffy that being drunk did not make him weaker at all when the strawhat complained about the possibility of his adversary disconsidering defeat because of an excuse. They are taking things seriously and don't take any of these assumptions of damage to mind. The assumption that Kaido is weaker in the fight is a fantasy, and if considered, the damage Luffy sustained must be taken into account too.
