This is the SRM section as you can see the numbers rise depending on the time and also more importantly theme of the game. Ekkos game had 259 pages and it ended in 2 cycles. This entire year we had good average posts per game. The engagement is there. But it seems like the community is more into SRM then RM because:

As you can see guys the engagement depends on the theme of the game ( If its anime related like OP,Naruto, or some big franchise like HP or SW it will have traction) for the most part. But yes RM games have lower pages in general then SRM its just the nature of the beast.
Now if you check the year 2023, it followed the same trend, OP games and or unique games where say you create your own role or I create your character? Boom engagement, normal RM game? Slower engagement. I am talking strictly about RM here because for SRM things didnt really change too much. Games in the SRM section vary from 400 or so pages to 800 depending on the setup and time its played.
TLDR: Hosting big profile SRM games generates engagement as is hosting well known themes for RM. The rest will get lower engagement as the players will engage less with the flavor.
