We tried light games, they aren’t for this community, people here enjoy RM
and more importantly SRM. I am planning on running a small DnD like game on OLF though.

I would actually like to try and host a game one day. It wouldn't be too complicated just a standard set up with only a 2-3 abilities for each player. Just need to decide on what I want to do it on lol

That would kill engagement and interest entirely imo, there is really no issue with games currently. I’ll try making more creative games if that what people want like my current Overlord game but I really need Dice man.

On NF and OLF when you click on editing your message there is an option to roll a dice. There isn’t here. I want it added so that I can implement dice based mechanics.

they havent done so in a long time though, specially in games where flower or ultra arent playing

also OLF games r generally more thread focused so even your average inactive fodder is forced to post more or get insta subbed

I hate flavour nazis. If someone nazis my flavour, I will nazi their flavour lmao.

People have to get their flavour stick out of their ass. Also by principle, I will not sign up for any HST oder Harry Potter or Star Wars themed games. They became overhosted to a degree.

I'd guess people have just get some sticks out of their asses and be more tolerant to other flavours. On OJ it was never a big deal for example.

One of my funniest game was a Futurama game where mafia was given no fake claims. So we had to use google and find random side characters from that show that we could claim. I had a damn ridiculous background character claim and made it super far. It was a fun game, we still lost tho in the end.

Yeah kinda my 2 cents on this lol.

About the gametraction. I guess SRMs usually have more players and more active D1s and D2s. So naturally they have many more pages. Overall I agree that games are as strong as always. Aslong the gamesizes won't get lower across a year.

the world of mafia has changed alot. ive visited 10s of mafia discord servers. check out the bios of the players in champs. most of them are representing discord servers. its the new age of mafia. thats where all the yappers reside now. if you want high intensity and activity game gotta hit one of those

perhaps maybe we can make a WG discord mafia and host games there to try it out

We have a discord server, just noone interacts there or helps to grow activity.
