Two main reasons I think.

1. Oda is allergic to drawing fights that don't involve any Straw Hats

2. Oda is hiding what Teach is capable of from the audience. When his fight against Luffy happens, I guarantee he'll be using brand new Yami, Gura and haki attacks.

I’m still of the same opinion, he’s always had a 3rd devil fruit, doesn’t explain all offscreen its just Oda’s style, but specifically Shanks flashback as I believe he’s the only one who saw his true form

Agree ,there is something Oda doesn‘t want us to show yet about BB .
If its is a 3rd fruit or what is up with his not "normal" body like Marco implied in Marineford,
Or what Luffy and Zoro meant with "them " in Jaya .


Ether way ,we are not ready for the Greatness we are about to witness when Blackbeard ON panels someone

My guess is Law will reveal his hidden off screen powers to whoever pirate he’s gonna join for help again before that happens. Bepo may accidently land in Cross Guild, Revo or SH’s presence.
