Character Discussion Mihawk and Crocodile are now gag characters

Is this how Mihawk fans felt during MF arc when Vista became his match-up and he retreated from Shanks? Are we experiencing Deja Vu? Mihawk slandering levels at an all-time high right now.

They are going to benefit from Buggy's gags and lucks

It is ok, Oda somehow had to make Buggy an emperor and maybe even reach One Piece or be relevant in the race. Crocodile and MIhawk will help with this.

Don't really like it for Crocodile as he's a character with a lot of potential on his own
Mihawk's character is whatever, he fits perfectly into the picture

Man i hoped Mihawk becomes another Houken, wandering alone in the New World on his coffin and unexpectedly pulling out at the final war like a Bushin maiming pirate and marine alike in search for someone that could best him in a duel.

Both feel detached from this world and entirely dedicated their lives to martial strength.

Nah big mom is definitely a gag character… You probably don’t know what “gag character” means if you don’t see even that

From now on, Mihawk and Crocodile are part of Buggy’s gag atmosphere where they will “Fail upwards” with Buggy, doing nothing in the actual story and random nonsense coincidences taking them wherever Buggy wants to take them.

The thing is Buggy might become the pirate king by "doing nothing". Even though he is a gag character, he is very relevant to the core plots of One Piece. This is probably the best Oda could come up with to involve Mihawk in the main fight of the story.
