Yet as the strongest person in the cross guild he would be the one responsible for fighting all 3 of the yonko, and why, because some stupid fucking clown said so? He doesn't give a shit about the one piece, why the fuck would he want to start a fight with the strongest people in the world because buggy of all people wants to be king? It doesn't have anything to do with his own ambitions, he gains litteraly nothing, and would have to do the vast majority of the work.

Dicthing his swordsmanship pledging to bite him to death, because he's not a real swordsman. Mihawk can fight shanks equally with sword even besting him with that aspect,. but when shanks started to pull Haki stuff that's when the real dilemma for Mihawk comes in. that's the reason he didn't want to fight current shanks. it's not because he has only one arm it's because he will surely use unswordsmanship tactcis on a fight.
