I think momonuske is kinda like his father, oden didnt let his royal blood or his responsibilities to bind him, he wants to be free. Even though momonuske’s dream is to be a shogun he’s still oden son and the journal missing pages was probably letting oden tell to momonuske that he have to join the strawhats and become stronger to fullfill his father’s dreams which is opening wano if he stayed on wano he wont become strong!
Remember the time he cried because he was weak that he cant even save his retrainers, how the heck you think would happen if he stayed on wano forever? If he stayed on wano i dnt think he will become stronger and he wont even protect anyone which is his potential was massive if he doesnt come with the strawhats its gone forever the red scabbards did their part its now time for momonuske to do his part which is to protect wano and his retrainers by getting stronger

Feel like it's a written plot probably and Momo will be destined to his duties by Goda but it would have been entrancing to have him around I think.

No you're definitely correct, I really don't see momo leaving. It's like with vivi (except vivi is less shite than momo but whatever), he has duties towards his country and a role to fill as shogun, a role his own dad turned out due to his lack of responsability and look what happened to Wano because of his behaviour (oden's that is).

I think Momo does join the Strawhats. They have so much history together, and it would parallel Oden joining Roger's crew on their journey to Laugh Tale. I really want to see Momo become badass.
