Character Discussion Most complex character in One Piece

#4
Kizaru, Akainu, Aokiji, Sengoku and Crocodile come to mind
If I'm to choose one it is probably Akainu. He has all the characteristics that make him a ruthless man, but behind this attitude is a noble cause, making him by default a self contradicting character. His character will be fleshed out more later on but the basis for such claim can be made from what we know.

Dragon will also be a pretty good character seeing how Oda handled him so far, unironically

Hody motherfuckin’ Jones
Man was rotten and wanted to enact racism purely because of tradition and his upbringing, not because of some personal grudge like a lot of these one-dimensional typical villains. It’s a pretty unique take and it’s a twisted kind of thinking that you’d see from a real person.
Wasn’t the point of Hody that he had no depth? Literally called “empty” because he was nothing more than hatred and racism for the sake of it?

Smoker.
Bro hated luffy and swore to take him down in Logue Town. Then met him on Alabasta and even got saved by his right hand. He got the credits for luffy's achievements and told his superiors to fuck off.
He then fought luffy on MF out of duty. But let go after he saw many characters including his employer's own trump cards, the shichibukai, kinda help him.
He then met him 2 years later on some random island and collaboratively they saved dozens of children and took down some evil MF scientist.
Recently he went to visit his buddies in the hospital. Most of his buddies, including his right hand, and almost all inferiors like or even admire the strawhats.

We genuinely don't know how he will react when he sees the Strawhats.

I'd love to see some Smoker x Zoro and especially Smoker x Franky interaction too.
