Oh. I don't like horror movies generally but I can't stress how much I like John Carpenter's "The Thing" from 1982. It is and was a great movie, the only mistake was that it come out the same year as ET and Blade Runner so they stole a lot of the light it deserved. I have searched and read quite a bit about it too. That ending was sooo beautiful. Don't even bother try watching the sequel btw if you haven't yet.

Some titles which come to mind: If you haven't still seen it try Joker (2019), then everything from Sergio Leone and so the dollars trilogy, these movies are what inspired Quentin Tarantino, I love them. The Godfather trilogy. Then since we are on an OP forum I guess anime movies are game too so Vampire hunter D, Akira, princess Mononoke.

The Sting

A movie from the 1960s or 1970s starring Robert Redford. I enjoyed the twists but it may get boring for some.
