I'm rooting for the 76ers to lose so we can clinch the 3rd seed and play the bulls
Al Horford just confirmed himself to be vaccinated despite the reports but Jaylen Brown has yet to comment

I hope they get Toronto lol. It's funny how Chicago went from a possible contender to a team that every top East team want to face.
Too many injuries this year. LaVine hasn’t been 100% the entire year, Lonzo barely played and is now out for the season. I would be surprised if they make it competitive with either Philly or Boston. Vuc has been missing every shot he takes recently, almost like you know it isn’t going in when he takes that turnaround hook shot.

Tbf, I don't think CLE was supposed to make the playoffs. They're like a wing player away from complimenting those bigs and guards (LeBron lol)

That's true although with DeMar as the best player, I can't help but always doubt how far he can take the team in the playoffs but yeah with the injuries who knows if this was the year he could've taken the team further than the semis. Their pieces are great actually.

the Cavs were actually Top 4 in the east confortably (16+ games over .500) but losing Jarrett Allen has been disastrous for them the last 2 months and they're now a loss away from being eliminated after 1 play-in game

They got Milwaukee 💀
Demar’s been great but you cannot rely on him to win you games in the post season by himself. Their big 3 would have to play well. Williams would have to also be agressive offensively and play up to his talent, he can score off the dribble after all. If they can do that and not get killed by Milwaukee’s shooting then they might make it interesting.

They have the talent to make the conference finals next year assuming the current core can stay healthy, they just need a little more size in the front court.

That's nice. What are you hoping now that the season is done?

I don't know why he's not getting a second one if he already took the 1st one in the bubble to harm the team :lawsigh:

Who’s stopping this offense

The team below you (possibly) :mrgo:

Looks like the Lakers want Nick Nurse to be the head coach although he has a couple of years left in TOR.

1 Get rid of Randle, Kemba (no hate against him just needs a new destination and much more affordable for other teams at 8m/yr instead of 35M/yr), Burks (so Thibs can stop starting him as a PG) before the preseason starts. Also can deal Fournier for the right price (he can stay otherwise)

1.5 try to keep Mitchell Robinson (if he goes over 4 yr/60M, sayonara)

2 Bring back Melo as a vet (he's come out yesterday saying he just wants to enjoy basketball at this point of his career, 20th year being next season)

3 Keep Taj Gibson and D Rose (who literally excused himself the last time he played to force Thibs to let IQ and McBride finish the game) as the team vets

3 Let IQ and Obi finally make the starting lineup the entire season. Would be nice to make the playoffs/play-in with the young cast but as long as everyone makes progress I'll be pretty happy

T-Wolves would be a bad matchup for the Grizzlies ngl. Wouldn't be surprised if they end up winning the play-in game that they surprise Memphis if they're not careful

I still don't know if y'all should try to make the playoffs or get a high pick again next year. My opinion again is that you need a star player if Randle isn't an All-NBA player again. Best case I guess would be Barrett next year, then y'all would move further in the right direction.

Sure. I would like the T-Wolves to win but it's tough. I'm curious to see how well Ja's & KAT's defenders are gonna do. MEM is a deeper team but it'll probably be who's the best player in the series.

I would def. not want them to face PHX if they lose.

From what I saw not too long ago, it's Hield & Brogdon for Russ & 2 1st round picks. Take that how you will lol

Lmao exactly idk man why a young team would want to add Russ of all players
Well, if you get picks with Russ, who only has 1 year left, then it's fine, especially if that young team is not ready yet. They can probably still do something with his contract regardless if he performs better or worse or just buy him out instead.

it's not really that we try to make the playoffs outright but I just want to see Leon Rose and Thibs trust the young core the entire season sans Randle (we basically want to salary dump him straight up w/o needing to get a star player in return just to get him off the team and far far away from taking minutes from other players on the team ESPECIALLY OBI) and if the young core of RJ/IQ/Obi/Reddish/Grimes/McBride/Sims leads us to the play-ins/playoffs, that would be pretty much house money for the team's goals, similar what the Grizzlies have done in the past 3 years after trading away Mike Conley and Marc Gasol

that was our original plan from the start when Leon Rose/Thibs was first hired until Randle decided to give a shit last season and reverting back to Tank Commander the last few months has made the original plan for the team a real possibility again

Indiana is lowkey overloaded at the guard spots so it makes sense to get rid of the older guards. They got like 5 guards that are in the rotation. And this deal is probably the best the Lakers would get back for Russ. Brogdon is the kind of point guard that would fit with Lebron and they would redeem the mistake they made last year by finally getting Hield. The question is if Indiana can find a better deal elsewhere.
