What? He got help from the players i think the difference was in coaching
Kerr didnt let Mavs to target steph while Warriors were KILLING doncic with PnR's
Dinwiddie was a no show and he was a key player last series. Brunson was great
Warriors bench was much better though and Luka got killed I agree. He’s a liability on defense

with how much of a company shill Jalen Rose has been ever since joining ESPN after 2006, you almost forget that he was once a solid player, almost borderline all-star in the 1990s-2000s that had actual experience in the Finals/Playoffs (and ofc getting hit with Kobe's 81). Guess he just wanted the 'structure' really badly XD
Yeah if wasnt for ESPN, he would only be known for Kobe scoring 81 on his head. I called him out because he tried to start the bs narrative: Warriors are lucky to be in the WCF because players from other teams injuries; but ignore the Warriors injured players.

I was actually worried at the 2nd quarter
Kerr not letting Curry in when the Mavs was very hot from three

Kerr can be stubborn with his minutes, to prolong Curry career, but he needs to let him play a few more minutes when the opposing team is getting hot in a quarter. Annoys me when he gets like this in the 4th quarter, when he subs Curry back in late.

42 from Luka, 32 from Brunson, 21 from Bullock. 19 point lead, 21 3s made shooting 47% and you still lose by 9, that's a big red flag for the Mavs, it simply means there is no stopping this Warriors offense. Warriors can legit walk into the paint, no real rim protectors, majority of the time Luka is asked to be that guy and his defense is non existent.

It's scary how calm Warriors look when you a build big leads against them deep into the playoffs, not a moment they thought they were losing this game even down 19. I still remember the 2019 WCF when the Blazers were up double digits after the half every game and still got swept.

That point does not make much sense.
Luka needs two other players to score, looking at the other series, not Dinwiddie specially.
Brunson 31, Bullock 21, including a few dagger threes.
Offense was not the problem, plus Warriors defense sucked first half.

I dont rate Looney but he played very well in last two games.

GSW hasn't hit their final gear yet. Klay can do much better. Curry also hasn't shown his best yet. I hope these guys will explode in the finals.

Seriously, i think a lot of it has to do not necessarily with the capabilities of the players on each team (putting aside the stars) but the team spirit and the confidence the Warriors as organization gives their players.

I mean someone like Otto Porter has no qualms to shoot and go for it, Poole is obvious, Looney is stepping up. Once again you have 6 players in double digits vs Dallas.

Like Nidai said above, Klay and Curry have not gone completely crazy in these playoffs yet, and a lot of it has to do with other guys having the confidence to step up.

Idk if yall watch football or not but its like Real madrid , both are built for these stages
UCL and Playoffs

Warriors still has another gear they can hit.
Dnt let Klay get hot in Game 3; been abysmal shooting 3's this series, but glad hes attacking the paint.
Curry is doing just enough, but we all know he can drop 50 if he gets hot.

This all goes back to Steph being completely unselfish. Poole was in the G League last year, people said Wiggins was a bust no team even wanted him, GP2 in the G league. Yet Steph looks like a role player out there at times simply cause the ball never sticks with the guy and he's completely fine with letting everyone eat (it helps that he gets trapped almost every play too). If your star player is willing to be coached like a role player, it sets a precedence for the rest of the squad. This is why the Tim Duncan comparisons make sense, Pop let Duncan hear it at times, who are you as a role player to have an ego after that? When even the greatest PF of all time is ok with being yelled at.

Kerr also took a lot from Popovich.

You’re right, in hindsight they couldn’t have asked Brunson and Bullock for more
Mavs just collapsed in the second half, their defense also sucked and went for 3s when they were up a good margin
I don’t even know, I think they’re just getting outcoached
It’s their first time at this stage too so I don’t really see them beating the same Warriors core who won championships
Let’s see if they figure something out back in their homecourt, a little early to celebrate and jinx anything
They were down 0-2 against Suns too but conference finals is a whole different beast in terms of pressure

Great comparison. If you look at Duncan´s stats at times, he seemingly pales compared to PFs like Malone, Barkley, Hayes and so forth, but most of them admit themselves that Duncan is probably the best PF ever.
