My point was that losing in the first round isn't unprecedented for best players in the league. Also, Giannis missed games with a back injury, literally the scariest types of injuries you could get aside from knee injuries. He clearly wasn't at 100%.

Also funny you say that, when right now Giannis is probably the closest thing to Jordan in the league aside from Lebron. Only 3 players can say they won the MVP and DPOY in the same season.

btw, what Jimmy did vs Bucks Giannis did in a closeout finals game. To say he's worse than Butler over 1 series where he was injured is the definition of overreacting.

fr playing with our food, now we gave the 76ers an extra day of rest
unless Embiid averages 50+ PPG 20+ RPG (or Harden temporarily reverts to Houston Harden), I still can't see the 76ers beating the Celtics tbh. Maybe up to 6 games

Michael isn't losing to the Heat. Michael isn't going to lose two games in a row against the Heat especially when his team is surrounded with better players. Have you seen the Heat roster? A bunch of undrafted players and second rounders. Lmao Giannis is overrated.

Idc if he missed three games. He played the last two games and lost. He lost at home. Jimmy is hurting too and yet he played. Cry me a river. Two games in a row with a healthy roster while Heat were missing Tyler and Victor. Complete failure.

Giannis is closest thing to Jordan? You gotta to be kidding me dude. Curry is BY FAR the best player in the league and it isn't even close.

Jimmy >> Giannis.

You acting like Jimmy wasn't injured. An injured player going to score 38 points and grab 20 rebounds? LOL! Yep he sure was injured.

Michael isn't losing to the Heat.
Without Pippen? and a back injury? give me the odds on the heat winning.

Have you seen the Heat roster? A bunch of undrafted players and second rounders. Lmao Giannis is overrated.
???

His second best player is Bam Adebayo who was a lottery pick, the Bucks second best player is a second round pick in Khris Middleton. By your own faulty logic the Bucks have the worse roster.

If you can't acknowledge injuries then you don't know basketball, it's as simple as that.

Giannis is closest thing to Jordan? You gotta to be kidding me dude. Curry is BY FAR the best player in the league and it isn't even close.

Yes, this isn't even a controversial take. Giannis is right now the most dominant players on both sides of the court.

Jimmy >> Giannis.
Ok so line up the 30 coaches and have them pick between the two, who do you think they choose?

Hell in this thread, who do you think people will choose?

Jimmy is good, but Giannis is next level dominant. The stats don't compare.

You acting like Jimmy wasn't injured. An injured player going to score 38 points and grab 20 rebounds? LOL! Yep he sure was injured.

Jimmy was injured months ago and had time to get back in the groove, Giannis didn't. Again, if you don't understand this you don't know ball, is that simple. You can't just throw someone out there and expect them to play at 100% right after they get injured.

Again, what Jimmy did vs Bucks Giannis did in a FINALS closeout game. The Heat had their own little run in the bubble and got trounced. Give Jimmy his flowers, but respect Giannis.

Trae was 9-28 man trade him his last game was a fluke at this point in his career he a second option or 3rd option at best
I hope he goes to the Pelicans. He can at least win 1 playoff series...

I'm actually happy your team made it into the 2nd round. There's actually a good chance that you could even go to the conference finals

Without Pippen? and a back injury? give me the odds on the heat winning.
Dude, are you really comparing Jordan to Giannis? Giannis had a FULLY healthy squad. Middleton, Holiday, Lopez ALL were healthy.

His second best player is Bam Adebayo who was a lottery pick, the Bucks second best player is a second round pick in Khris Middleton. By your own faulty logic the Bucks have the worse roster.
You obviously weren't watching the games then because Bam was shit in the series. He was struggling to get shots off and will pass the ball right away.

If you can't acknowledge injuries then you don't know basketball, it's as simple as that.
Whole Bucks team was healthy. Heat had two players go down. You are the one not acknowledging injuries.

Yes, this isn't even a controversial take. Giannis is right now the most dominant players on both sides of the court.
I don't care about stats. Wins >>> stats. Giannis is fucking 7 foot tall. He better have good stats. Heat were allowing him to get his shots because they know he can't shoot threes or make free throws. Two most important skills needed in being a great NBA offense.

Ok so line up the 30 coaches and have them pick between the two, who do you think they choose?
They will choose Giannis, but why does that matter? I wasn't talking about their whole careers. I am talking about THIS year. Jimmy outplayed your boy Giannis. Giannis is overrated.

Jimmy is good, but Giannis is next level dominant. The stats don't compare.
Jimmy literally has better stats this playoff series lmfao. You are just contradicting yourself. Jimmy shooting 60% with 38 ppg as a guard. He isn't 7 foot.

Like I said, you weren't watching this series. You are now just talking out your ass. Jimmy literally got injured this series. He injured his back and still played. You acting like Giannis the only one playing injured.

Dude, are you really comparing Jordan to Giannis? Giannis had a FULLY healthy squad. Middleton, Holiday, Lopez ALL were healthy.
Bro Jordan literally had the second best wing in the league in his team during their run. Let's not act like he played with a bunch of bums.

Yeah I am picking the Heat over an injured Jordan in this team.

You obviously weren't watching the games then because Bam was shit in the series. He was struggling to get shots off and will pass the ball right away.
I am literally pointing out the flaw in your logic....

Whole Bucks team was healthy. Heat had two players go down. You are the one not acknowledging injuries.
No, I am literally only talking about Giannis here. My argument has always been "Giannis was injured, can't really use this series to judge him right now"

I don't care about stats.
bullshit, yes you do. If Jimmy Butler was carried to a win you wouldn't be saying this dumbass shit.

Wins >>> stats. Giannis is fucking 7 foot tall. He better have good stats.
lmao there's dozen of 7 footers in the NBA. Please name me 3 that could put up his numbers.

Heat were allowing him to get his shots because they know he can't shoot threes or make free throws.
Nope, the Heat strategy is everybody's strategy vs Giannis. Build a wall so he can't score easily.

Two most important skills needed in being a great NBA offense.
Bruh what? LBJ literally dominated the league with no 3PT and being an average FT shooter. You're literally talking out ya ass right now.

They will choose Giannis, but why does that matter? I wasn't talking about their whole careers. I am talking about THIS year. Jimmy outplayed your boy Giannis. Giannis is overrated.
Not even this year they would choose Jimmy, and they would've laughed at you for even considering it.

I'm also not the type to judge players off just 1 series. LeBron had plenty of sus series, he still was the GOAT of my generation.

Like I said, you weren't watching this series. You are now just talking out your ass. Jimmy literally got injured this series. He injured his back and still played. You acting like Giannis the only one playing injured.
Bruised glutes, where he was benched in a blowout win, in a series where he didn't miss games...

https://bleacherreport.com/articles...uised-glute-couldve-returned-to-heat-vs-bucks

:seriously:

I'm sorry bro but this is why I don't think you know ball. Anybody who has picked up a basketball knows rolling your ankle is nothing compared to having a serious ankle sprain. If you miss games in a playoffs setting that is enough to consider the injury serious, specially if it's dealing with stuff like knees and back.

AD would be the most annoying player in the league if Kawhi was not in existence.

It is so fucking annoying that people need to fear before the game about which AD will show up.

Always Delivering or Always Disappointing.

Lakers and Warriors closing the deal today? ( I say today because the day ends for me in few hours and I will go thru to watch both games so I treat it as "today ).
I got grizzlies win cus this Lakers team like playing better when they being doubted by everyone than being hype up soon they lose even Lakers fans goin think it over then boom they win game 7 and everyone back on they hype train lol as for the kings they losing they goin make dumb decisions like they did last game at the end and fox finger most likely ain't got better and goin have another bad second half

I hope for Lakers to win since I want some sort of last dance for LeBron.

I've been noticing LeBron gassing out more and more. I hope he can have his one last ride to the finals before he becomes bench player to wait for Bronny.

I don't like Memphis or Lakers but I hate Memphis more so I hope Lakers close it out. Warriors are back at home so I got them closing out today.

Jordan aint loosing even without Pippen.

Max Strus went undrafted, Duncan Robinson undrafted, Gabe Vincent undrafted, Caleb Martin undrafted. Tyler Herro injured, Victor injured, Kyle Lowry 37 years old with a bad knee. You don't know what you're talking about.

No, I am literally only talking about Giannis here. My argument has always been "Giannis was injured, can't really use this series to judge him right now"
My guy, if he is injured then how the hell he got 20 rebounds and 40 points? He was not injured the last two games! He went 0-2.

bullshit, yes you do. If Jimmy Butler was carried to a win you wouldn't be saying this dumbass shit.
huh?

lmao there's dozen of 7 footers in the NBA. Please name me 3 that could put up his numbers.
Bigs always shoot at a high percentage and get high rebounds, Einstein. Giannis shooting at a high percentage and getting rebounds is because he is 7 foot.

Nope, the Heat strategy is everybody's strategy vs Giannis. Build a wall so he can't score easily.
Like I said, you don't know what you're talking about. Heat do NOT have the personal to build a wall so they were playing Giannis with Bam. And playing mostly box and one.

Not even this year they would choose Jimmy, and they would've laughed at you for even considering it.
I chose Jimmy and now I am laughing at you.

yea because an injured player gets 20 rebounds and 40 points. He surely was injured.

Kobe is the GOAT of our generation. Then Curry. Then Lebron.

You keep crying Giannis is playing through injuries and now you're saying "Jimmy injury is easy to play on" lmfao. Giannis had a bruised back, cry me a river. Put some icy hot on that and play.

And yet he returned back and went 0-2. Don't tell me a player is injured if he is scoring 40 points and grabbing 20 rebounds. Gtfo! Cry me a river.

LeBron is multiple tiers above Kobe.

Curry will probably pass Kobe in the next couple years or so

Same I ain't goin lie tho I want the new generation to take over Steph and lebron had they time but seeing Steph or lebron hold up another title will be cool
