Dirk was an advisor for the Mavs until this past season when he got hired by Amazon Prime for 2025-26 and was reportedly furious when Luka, who he was extremely close with when he retired in 2018-2019. Klay should be grateful he got to play beside Curry for his career, Curry is an anomaly like no other player in history when it comes to distorting opposing defenses. He will get teammates open like no other player in the history of the league. If you play beside Curry it's like a warmup drill mid game, just ask Jimmy Butler he can't believe how open he is, he said it's like a layup line during warmup with the amount of coverage Curry gets.
