It's not that random. There's goal congruence between the three and all of them are former warlords. If anyone's going to join them it would be Weevil. All the others (Hancock, Kuma, Doffy, Jinbe, Law, Moriah, Teach) all have very obvious reasons not to join

Moriah somehow got there decades ago and the news of Kaidos death had to have circulated to him. Wouldn’t be shocked if he returned to claim what he couldn’t before. And with such powerful corpses there the zombies he could create to get revenge on the BB Pirates would be great.

It’s not something I think will happen; but fuck would it be more fun than Yamato getting hypetooled by characters we already know are stronger than her.
