If one happens, it will be with the Ancient Robot, not Vegapunk. Vegapunk already said he doesn't know the true history, and doesn't want to speculate on what the true history is, so, it's impossible for him to head the flashback.

But what if they do escape.....
I will tell you what is the Wano cover story for: 1. For Oda to make up for all the shit he skipped during the rushed Wano ending, we'll see that skipped stuff (show me Ulti and Page One, Oda!). 2. For Oda to tie it with BB trying to get Pluton when she comes back to the capital making a full circle. NOT for Yamato to join the crew, okay?

She will go to the sea when it's finally Momo's time to fulfill his father's prophesy he read in the journal ("guide people to the dawn").
