Yeah and people believed Yamato was going to join because she said she wanted to, even tho she had no role, was too strong and was depicted hanging around with Momo most of the time, never interacting with a SH.

In all fairness, the whole carrying on Pedro's will thing being built up like that to go pretty much nowhere was really stupid 
He wanted to add more Poneglyphs to the zou empire, for tourism sake
It's not about joining lol
I never really expected carrot to join anyway nor I wanted her to be nakama
But it's more about how oda totally sidelined her in wano like no build on pedro will thing, no good bye panel, off paneled most of the time in wano.
And, the reason I said Oda did 🥕 fans dirty is that oda made tama ask Luffy to join her crew to which Luffy agrees if she learns ninjutsu and not even good bye panel for Carrot. Lol
Oda just doesn't make sense these days lol
