Loki being apart of the big mom plot is kind of the reason why he loses points, but I won’t forget he’s royalty from Elbaph. Jinbe is a part of all of the big mom plot, and also the Arlong plot.

The fact Luffy and Loki have actually been bonding and that Luffy wants him on his crew are huge cases for Loki joining. This ain't some gag request like Kinemon's legs or a side character struggling for relevance - Loki is a centerpiece of the Elbaf arc and Luffy has expressed genuine interest in him.
If Loki travels by ship, what is the purpose of the Sunny? That’s home(I can see it working). They have a giant friend, but they aren’t supposed to be friends with Shanks.

So seeing as how Conqueror’s seems needed to defeat Imu’s regenerative minions like the Holy Knights and Five Elders, this would surely further justify Yamato being on the crew.
