Looks like Yamato may be heading for the roof. I think it’s essential that Yamato and Kaido confront each other at the very least.

When do you think Act 3 is ending? 5 more chapters?

Also it looks like the Scabbards will be looking for Momo, freeing up Yamato to go wherever she wants, like the rooftop.
I think Act 3 is the main climax and Act 4 will be the conclusion. That's the impression I get with the current flow of the story.

Even if i'm disappointed about Yamato babysitting Momo. She is worried about Luffy and thats is a good sign of their relationship with his future captain. By that i dont understand why some people downplaying her and say she is relegated, the chapter is obiusly a foreshadowing of her future battle with Kaido.

I dont understand that haterism, if she fights and defeat everyone some people say she is too strong to be Strawhat, but if she only fight with Kaido these people says she is too relegated to be a strawhat. Seriously, what do you want ?
For at least one person in this thread (see if you can figure out who!!), it seems he will personally suffer a major tragedy if Carrot doesn’t wind up a Straw Hat...at least, he defends her as if his own life is on the line. Yamato’s really the biggest direct threat to that happening, so they just wanna rage against the dying of the light :kayneshrug:

Yamato babysitting Momo would be more interesting if they didnt send fodder after him.

Actually how would you feel if the tragedy of this play results to be Yamato?

Obviously wouldn’t be thrilled, but if there’s one thing we know Eiichiro Oda isn’t gonna do under almost any circumstances, it’s kill off a character of any importance. By all rights, Peros probably should have killed Carrot in this most recent fight, so Yamato can’t really turn out worse than that.

I feel like that would make no sense at all. Of all the characters in onigashima she's the one with the least emotional connection. Sure she's a fan favorite already because of her potential, but she was really just introduced. Why would Oda set up a character just to kill her off immediately? If someone dies it's 100% one or more of the scabbards.

Shinobu for next nakama

She appears every chapter, not only babysitting Momo, but also:
She already bonded with Nami and Robin, did stealth mission with Nami and went to bath house with Nami and Robin.
She already saved the crew from Kaido's Borobreath.
She is already introduced since act 1.

Oh also, Luffy notices Shinobu more than how he notices Yamato.

He didn't make shitty name for Shinobu like Shinou or whatever. Unlike the case for Yamao.

Just accept it bro, Shinobu is the kunoichi from Wano arc that everyone wanted to join the crew.
Poor her, now that she is ugly (which is subjective btw) everyone now is quick to discard her from possibility of next nakama and prefers the generic horned Nami.

Anyway, 1 more point for Shinobu is she has epithet. "The Bewitching" Shinobu, just like "Straw Hat" Luffy, "Pirate Hunter" Zoro, etc.
What is Yamato's epithet? Either error 404, or that clown tier epithet "Kozuki Oden".

Shinobu bonded with Straw Hats.
Yamato bonded with Momo and Shinobu, well, she bonded with future Straw Hat alright..

"But but bonded with Luffy"
Yeah bonded enough that she befriends Luffy to "giving random name" level lmao

I find the sheer confidence of this pitch really odd considering we've had literally hundreds of pages of discussion and she hasn't even been mentioned as a candidate before.

Yamato is leaving Wano, that's been mentioned 3 times already. Two of those mentions came from 999/1000, two milestone chapters that focused on flashbacks between her and Ace.

But hey keep trying to deny it at this point
The key word there is "flashback". That was Yamato's motivation before Momo came back into the picture, and since then Yamato has pledged himself exclusively to Momo's safety. The issue is whether that devotion will extend beyond the battle or not. Maybe it won't, maybe it will, And even if it does, will Yamato consider leaving Wano more important anyway? The questions are still fair game because again, Yamato's motivation since meeting Momo has been protecting him, and not a word about leaving Wano in the present tense.

A Flashback that she specifically told to Momo highlighting her motivations while giving him the logbook, her Bible. And just because she said them in flashback form doesn't diminish her desire to leave, it's in black and white, right in front of our faces.

And just this Chapter Luffy's name came up with her desire to fight with him against Kaido. So, I disagree with your stance.

Enel was leaving Skypea... for his own adventure
Lucci (after being backstabbed by Spandam) was leaving Water 7... for their own adventure
Perona was leaving Thriller Bark... for her own adventure
Jean Bart was leaving Sabaody slave shop... to join Law
Aokiji was leaving Marineford... for his own purpose
Shirahoshi was leaving Fishman Island... to attend Reverie
Mocca was leaving Punk Hazard... to tag along with Smoker
Bellamy was leaving Dressrosa... for his own adventure
Rebecca was leaving Dressrosa... to attend Reverie
Carrot was leaving Zou... to go to WCI
Pound, Chiffon were leaving WCI... for their own adventure

But Yamato said she will leave Wano means... 100% she is joining Luffy's crew!!! Lol what

You're missing the keypoint that she wants to leave with Luffy.

If you're gonna offer a counter argument, at least try to make it more sensible lol

None of those characters had even an Inkling in the narrative that would push them on the SH's ship.

Yamato does.
Dramatic introduction with a twist
Very unique interaction with Luffy
Indication of a tragic past while directly tied to this Arc's antagonist
Asked to board Luffy's ship
Has been very prevalent since introduction to the level of the Strawhats already
Havining meaningful dialogue, moments, and expressions
shared spotlight in milestone chapters 999 and 1000 in the form of a flashback with Ace
She gave Ace his vivre card, meaning she's been tied to Luffy since Alabasta

Dramatic introduction with a twist
Yep, Duval level twist. Or less.
I was more surprised with Duval's face reveal under his mask than either of Yamato's face or gender reveal. Like we have Okiku already, but let's just reverse it.

Very unique interaction with Luffy
Unique enough that she gets Cavendish / Bartolomeo / Marco / Law treatment aka getting randomly nicknamed.

Asked to board Luffy's ship
As Kozuki Oden, not as Yamato.

Yep she is very relevant that everytime she appears all she does is babysitting.
But I give you a point for this, she could babysit Chopper if she joins, but not sure if Chopper wants a weird clown to tail him everytime though.

Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook, and Jinbe. Out of 9 person, only 1 had connection with Ace. Means "knew Ace in the past" isn't an argument for joining.

She gave Ace his vivre card, meaning she's been tied to Luffy since Alabasta
Same as above.
