Yeah, Jinbe being Best Helmsman was out of nowhere and a useless thing at this point as more than half of journey is already over... though it was clear that oda wanted SHs to be best at something it seems..... even though Jinbe's relation with Luffy was enough of a reason for him to join.

No problem joining. I am sharin same opinion. Just ım thinking helmsman issu is like something made up. When luffy crew mate during series, always he said ı should find musician , cooker , navigator. Also main motivation jmbei joning crew must be fishman freedom thing. Oda can say like that. For instance, yamato or carror or vivi will join crew . we have to give ship expertment that person. for example what wil they be in the ship. best ship cleaner ?

Everybody can be helmsman except luffy. But jinbe already shows some certain level of helmsmanship He knows sea and he can do something about it.


Jinbe is positioned in helms actually connected to his dream agenda. The helm is on the front deck. So he wants to shows that fishmen and human can get along.

jinbe is a great addition. He is expert in helmsman and swimming and great advisor regarding alliance

if you really think about it every SHs dreams really fit to their roles or what they usually do

For example
Zoro dream is WSS. It's demand him to become strong that's why he always training. His role as combatant fits to what he always do in daily basis

Usopp dream is to become knight of the sea. It's so abstract but he is trying to become stronger by his own way with his marksman skill, by come up with new tools or something. Do you all know usopp also has a pop green garden and a factory in the ship?

Yes she is young, week and naive. That's the problem. Chopper is young too, but he is a pro doctor and he stood his ground against two second strongest subordinates of two yonkos. If they met Carrot before TS then she is perfectly fine, now SHs have no time to recruit kids
