Break Week NO CHAPTER 1001 THIS WEEK, we have to wait until 17th January

Well, his last post had decent info/sourcing, which is cool. He proved me wrong I guess.
Still, I was talking about the fact that this year will be the first year with the Korean sauce, and I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but 977 released on a double issue last summer due to Covid, yet 978 images were leaked a week earlier than normal regardless, during break week.
Korean sourcing makes it possible for him to get spoilers tomorrow. Its happened before timeline wise, and its separate from the actual magazine spoilers we get.
Again, I'd rather get spoilers the 11th, because getting them this weeks we have to go through another 2+ weeks of waiting for 1002. We are going to have to wait at some point, and id just rather wait now.

Its funny, I literally give the other user the benefit of the doubt. Yes, the last few years we got spoilers 2 weeks into January, it doesnt follow the holiday issue's early leaks. However, the last few years we didn't have the Korean leaker, who already proved earlier this year he can just straight up leak a chapter on a break week (978) 2 weeks early if he has it, like the holiday issue. 1000 and every other holiday chapter (966, 930 etc)
I wasn't even saying it was guaranteed, and yet i get my posts dissected to just prove how "wrong" I am based on other portions of my posts. When I say petty, its not cause I'm mad that I'm wrong, its that it really didn't need to be that deep. Woopdidoo I'm wrong I guess!

This was not the exchange I expected when I clicked on the thread, but on second thought, I’m not surprised. However long we have to wait is too damn long

The jump breaks count as his "break" for that time, which is my point.
Look from 998 onward as an example. He did the following:

Jump break
1000
Jump break
1001
See how he's already at 4 chapters technically in a row? They don't let him take his breaks a week following a jump break with only 1 chapter as a buffer, not normally. The only exception to this were a few chapters over the summer due to Covid. They went back to normal schedule on August basically.
Thus, we technically should get 1002 at least, but potentially 1003 before he takes his next break.
You can also see this was the case last year with spoilers, even moreso:
- 965 12/12
- 966 12/19
- Jump holiday break
- 967 12/27 (leaked early like 1000)
- Jump holiday break
- 968 1/16
- 969 1/23
- 970 1/30
As you can see, Oda did 6 chapters in a row technically last year. Hes been on the 3/4 chapter then break schedule for over 5 years now. You can go back and see many examples of this. They don't let him take breaks it seems without at least 2 chapters after a jump break.
Right now 1001 is where we were with 968, so we can 100% get 1002 and 1003 without another break

I have nothing against him. And you reminded me i need to finish reading World Trigger.
I hope you're right but Oda did take his own break right after we came back from the new years Jump break in Jan. 2019.
Chapter 929 was the last chapter of 2018, 930 came after the Jump break on 14th Jan. 2019 and then Oda took his own break. So I'm prepared for us to go on a break again, but I hope there won't be one.
