That idiot Lucci was too hasty he shouldn't have eaten that crappy zoan df, at the time we didn't know df tiers i thought every df can be mastered peak tier but now we learn that's not the case at all.

Guys like Lucci, Katakuri and Doffy are one strong DF away from top tier status. Sure, they are going to be on the lower spectrum of top tiers, especially Lucci who is the only one who doesn't have CoC, but all of them would be top tiers of they had either logia or mythical zoan. I mean imagine Doffy with Ceaser's gas logia and Katakuri with Kaido's dragon zoan? Hell, image Lucci with Ace's fire DF, or Green Bull's plant logia.

Doflamingo and Katakuri have strong fruits.

Doflamingo has one of the most hax and versatile fruits in the verse. Katakuri has a logia for all intents and purposes.

Lucci's fruit matches his personality and combat style to perfection, but I will admit it's mid tier at best.

Problem is that DF seems to choose their owners according to personality so you need to be a have a mythical lvl character to attract that kind of DF also Mythical Zoans are the most dangerous ones because just look at Ragnirs personality he is clever like a child so if your will is weak you will just be consumed.

So to become top tier you need haki character and also luck and that is why Blackbeard killed Thatch since he lacked the character and luck part.

This is an adventure and story manga first. Theres a reason why One Piece has its own scale and lore that surpasses other manga at least in terms of ambition of scale and world building. It has action and fights but it’s not about fight scenes. Never has been

Only time he will take his time now is for G5 Luffy, which won't even be a real fight but a repetition of gag panels.

So yeah there isn't any good fight left that will last more than 1 chapter.
